To intentionally moving weight with the goal of making it harder
Utilising: full ROM, mind muscle connection, improving stability and using the right load within a certain rep range
Which will subsequently hit those stimulating reps that promote growth 💪

“I’ve been looking through some photos and just wanted to share one and say thank you for putting up with my inconsistent arse for over a year now. I’ve just hit 40 and been the healthiest and fittest version of me I’ve ever been. I haven’t stuck to the plan 100% but, I’ve made ALOT of healthy life style choices, being more conscious of what I put in my body, stopped consuming alcohol like I did, going from 3 - 4 drinks a night to maybe 1 or 2 a fortnight. I set out with a goal of being confident without a shirt on, am I there, no, but I’m atleast 13kgs lighter and feeling better than ever. Cheers for doing your thing. Can’t wait to keep this inconsistent train ride going 🤣🙌💪”

Things to note 📝
▪️You don’t have to be perfect to achieve results, you just have to be consistent
▫️Reframe the way you look at health and fitness and dig deep into why you want to change your life
▪️Understand that these new habits and behaviours has to become part of your daily life
▫️And if it doesn’t or you don’t view it that way, you won’t last and consequently revert back to your old self

Amazing consistency by my client 🔥
✅Energy levels are better
✅Not food focussed anymore
✅Strength is going back up
✅Recovery is great
✅Sleep quality is perfect

Reverse/recovery dieting is not easy
You will need to rely on the habits and behaviours you have created whilst dieting to come out of it cautiously
But remember you don’t have to be perfect you just need some self control and discipline

During this time he managed to go on holiday to Bali
He managed through festive session and new years
And we are now in the best position to begin the building phase 😎

Great effort bro and I can’t wait to see what you can achieve in this phase 📈

Sharing my clients amazing journey

I remember when we began 4 years ago and his starting weight was 120kg
In those years he preserved dealing with the hurdles and the curve balls thrown his way
He is now at whopping 90kg 🤯

Super proud of you bro! And I know you ain’t stopping yet 💪

People fail to realise that the key to getting results is pure consistency and developing new habits and behaviours 🔑

Amazing progress by my client!
He set his sights on his goal of achieving 85kg before he went on holiday to Bali

We mapped it out and decided to go for it!
It wasn’t an easy dieting phase but he perservered and got it done

What did we do?
Ate consistently, did his training sessions, and cardio sessions
Ex*****on is everything
If you want results you’ve gotta put the work in
Stop saying you will, just do, actions speak louder!

When he comes back for his holiday we shall go into a building phase 💪💪

Excited to see what we can build on his frame 😎

“I’ve always been very active, playing rugby and weightlifting so weight has never really been a problem.  However after multiple injuries and having to completely step away from rugby I’ve struggled with motivation and weight gain. 

I’ve done a program with Jeremy before and it managed to get me out of the rut I was in - proving to myself what can be achieved with some discipline and accountability. 

I also do FIFO and it’s sometimes hard to 100% stick with the program but Jeremy kept me accountable, while also understanding that s**t happens and certain things aren’t always possible, but provided me with the tools to be able adapt where necessary and to keep moving forward and not quit.  I didn’t quite hit the goal I wanted to the first time round so I thought I’d sign up for a program again. 

I’m stoked with the results and excited to keep going, implementing the mind set and tools I’ve been given. 

Highly recommend the Slegion team, it’s worth investing in yourself!  Thanks Jeremy.”

My Holiday season spent in Japan 🇯🇵🍜

This is is how it looks like-
There’s been a lot of drinking 🍻
Eating 3 meals a day and most days not getting enough protein
10 days of no training
Late night sleeps
Not drinking enough water
Travelling

Based on health and fitness this isn’t ideal ❌

What people fail to see ✅
I feel mentally refreshed and recharged to jump back on track
I’ve created amazing new memories
I’ve become more present
And new ideas are flowing

Most people get to caught up in being “perfect”
If you aren’t you “failed”
Or you aren’t making “progress”

The ability/skill to jump back track after some downtime, sickness, holidays, or even injuries is something you want to develop

Practice self discipline and self control when on holiday

Health and fitness is a lifestyle, just because you’ve taken some time off to doesn’t mean you aren’t still living it

And when your back simply get back on track and start the push phase again

Life’s to short not to enjoy yourself ✌️

To many people want fast results, but aren’t willing to spend the time putting in the work
Remember it’s great to be perfect, but this lifestyle requires only a high compliancy
The harmony between living your life and being able to execute the plan but not being perfect is a line that’ll help you attain crazy good results

But what drives real progress?
1️⃣First I think you need to be aware of the changes that required in your habits and behaviours to achieve the results and maintain them for the rest of your life
2️⃣Second is the drive to learn, asking the right questions and improving the quality of your training and knowledge around health and fitness

Was he perfect through 2.5 years? Nope
You’ve gotta accept that success is not a linear line 📈
Enjoy and trust the process, put in the effort in everything you do, educate and learn
Do these things and I guarantee the results will follow 😎

5kg up since last cut, not counting macros just eating exactly the same as before just more of it
Eating carbs pre, intra and post workout
Training 2 days on 1 day rest
Focussing on heavier compounds and free weight exercises, aiming for those stimulating reps
3 x 20min sss
Managing sleep and stress
There no shortcut, to speeding up time or hard-work

With just under a year to keep growing before we begin a cut for a comp 😎

Changing body composition was the goal here! Losing a whopping 7.5cm around the waist whilst holding and building some size in arm and legs 😉

For this client Managing stress and improving sleep quality was the most important part

We focussed on improving his old regime into something that was sustainable for him

☑️It started simply by eating more regular meals and getting enough protein
☑️We found the amount of days he could commit to training
☑️And we ultimately focussed on managing his high stressful job and improving his sleep and recovery

We weren’t perfect, there were weeks he couldn’t find the energy to train, missed some meals, had occasions and drinks
But he jumped back on track when he can and hit around 70-80% compliancy most weeks

And as simple as that results came slowly! 📈

It doesn’t need to be perfect for you to make progress 💪

“I started my fitness journey back in 2021, when I knew I needed to improve my unhealthy relationship with food and fitness. Tracking calories and weighing myself often was something I was scared of and wanted to avoid as much as possible. It used to be obsessive and unhealthy for me, often feeling guilty if I didn’t eat the right things. I was never fully accepting of my body and always wanted to improve it.

While I learned a lot from my previous PT, the knowledge I’ve gained and the confidence I have in myself and my habits since starting with you is incredible. I’ve developed much healthier habits, knowing that this is a lifestyle and not just a 3-12 month goal. I’ve learned to listen to my body when it needs to slow down, to not feel guilty if I go a little bit off track, and to just enjoy every phase of my body, eating and training. I’ve loved my meal plan and training splits every step of the way! It’s been fun to try new things and I also believe one of the biggest improvements for me came from learning more about tempo and controlled movements. I can’t thank you enough for helping me improve my mindset around food and fitness and for reframing my thoughts when I fell a little off track.

I now train and eat to keep myself fit, healthy and fuelled and just because I enjoy it! It’s no longer a punishment or guilt thing for me and that’s huge!”
