π©° DANCE PHYSIO & PRE-POINTE ASSESSMENTS & CONDITIONING PROGRAMMES π©°
Vicki Negus from Tonic is a highly experienced Dance Specialist Physiotherapist who has helped many ballet students achieve their dream of starting pointe work. Vicki was the Company Physiotherapist for the dancers of West Australian Ballet for 8 years, and has worked closely with professional, pre-professional and recreational dancers for over 25 years.
If you, or someone you know, are aiming to start pointe work soon, consider having a specialised Pre-Pointe Physio Assessment. Vicki looks in-depth at your strengths and weaknesses in relation to your body's structure, strength, flexibility, balance, turnout and foot control, in order to start safely and minimise the risk of injuries. A Pre-Pointe Assessment with Vicki includes an individually tailored home exercise programme to help prepare you for starting pointe work. These students below (from the School of American Ballet) make it look easy, but this takes a lot of hard work and dedication!
{Vicki also does more general Dance Physio assessments for dancers aiming to improve technique and conditioning for dance, and prevent or rehabilitate injuries}
