Hi everyone, we will be taking appointments for our first couple of flu clinics today.

We ask that you are patient and understanding with our reception staff as we anticipate an influx of calls and it is unlikely we will have enough vaccines this fortnight for everyone.

‘Why don’t we ever have enough vaccines?’ The govt only give us what they give us strictly once a fortnight. Please understand this is out of our control!

The flu clinic appointments will only be for the flu vaccine, we ask that you book other medical enquiries at a separate appointment time.

Please keep in mind if you do not fall into the below category there is a $29 fee for the vaccine payable on the day.

Criteria for govt vaccine:
* Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
* Pregnant women
* Those aged over 65
* Children 6months to 11yo inclusive
* Anyone with a chronic condition that puts them at risk of the flu

We understand this is a very challenging time for you all. To ensure we can continue to provide the best possible care to our patients, we ask that you consider the following prior to booking an appointment with the practice.
If you have flu like symptoms, coughs, colds or fever please contact the clinic for triage. For those who may be at risk, we can offer a Phone Consult with the Doctor instead of coming into the practice. We are working tirelessly to help reduce the risk of this virus spreading. We are taking precautionary measures to ensure everyone's safety. As healthcare workers, we understand the importance of both our patients care as well as our people.
