Essential Alchemy

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of spending the afternoon with Essential Alchemy and the wonderful team of Women's Health physiotherapists at Performance Pilates & Physiotherapy

On the agenda was an informative Pelvic Floor Workshop followed by an introduction to the latest non-invasive treatment of PF dysfunction, EMSELLA therapy.

Utilizing innovative HIFEM technology, the EMSELLA Chair causes deep pelvic floor muscle stimulation and restoration of neuromuscular control.

FDA cleared, TGA approved the medical CE-marked EMSELLA delivers 11,000 involuntary contractions in a single 28-minute session!

If you think about your Kegel exercises and how many repetitions are achievable before PF fatigue occurs, well that's an incomparable difference! 💥

Recommended treatment protocol is 6 sessions over 3 weeks (although this may vary depending on the patient's requirements) this therapy is extremely beneficial for women experiencing Urinary Incontinence and men pre/post Prostatectomy (prostate surgery).

With zero downtime, this walk-in/ walk-out therapy definitely deserves your attention if you have any concerns about your Pelvic Floor health & function...ps. I had a go and it's completely painless and all done whilst remaining fully clothed 👍

For more information email the team at hello@essentialalchemy.com.au

**this is not an Ad, I'm not affiliated with EMSELLA therapy/ Essential Alchemy in any way, just want to share**🫶🫶

Our Story

Our Pilates Practitioners can teach you how to move more efficiently, reducing pain and preventing injury. Concentration and integration of the mind and body are the foundations of the Performance Pilates Rehabilitation and Exercise Programs. The benefits are that your body will feel, look and perform at its best.

Our unique program targets the pelvic floor and deep stabilising muscles of the trunk and incorporates efficient diaphragmatic breathing. This ensures that the spine is adequately supported while promoting safe, efficient movement of the entire body and relieving pain. We use specially designed, spring loaded equipment to assist you to correct faulty movement patterns through neuromuscular re-education. Exercises are progressed to challenge strength, endurance and dynamic stability, fully integrating movement of the spine with the extremities to achieve optimal performance.
