This week, the crew tried out the Tovertafel 'magic table', an interactive experience that encourages movement, play, and social connection through light and motion. 💫

Every Thursday, the Urban Discovery Group heads out via public transport to explore somewhere new, connect, and make awesome memories.

Our amazing supported accommodation customers from two houses got together on the weekend for a day full of colour, laughs and good vibes at the Perth Colour Frenzy! 💜💛💚

From the looks on their faces (and the colours on their clothes!) they had a blast and their support workers were right there with them, having just as much fun 🎉

It was all about friendship, fun, and making bright memories together.

Looking for a fun, supportive way to help your child build water confidence and safety skills? Our AUSWIM program is an 8-week aquatic therapy program for children aged 4 to 13 with a diagnosis of autism (or seeking a one).

Through AUSWIM, we help kids develop water safety, motor skills, and confidence, both at the pool and the beach! 🏖️✨

Another incredible weekend for Telethon, which raised over $90 million for WA children! 🤩

As a Telethon7 Perth beneficiary, we were proud to once again participate in the APM Charity Zone at the Family Festival on Sunday, where hundreds of families braving the wet weather stopped by to show their support.

A big THANK YOU to all who visited us, and also to our staff who volunteered their time both in the Charity Zone and in the Telethon phone room. We have 90 million reasons to celebrate Telethon's success! 🫶

Diwali is the biggest and most important holiday of the year for the Hindu community 🇮🇳🫶 The hundreds of thousands of Hindus in Australia - as well as Sikhs and Jains - will celebrate the 'Festival of Lights' across five days.

It's a time to have fun with friends and family, gifts and sweets are exchanged, delicious feasts are enjoyed, and firework displays light up the skies!

QUICK HISTORY!

🎆 Diwali marks the start of the Hindu New Year. The dates of Diwali change each year depending on the position of the moon, but usually falls October - November

🎆 'Diwali' means 'row of lights' in ancient Sanskrit. People decorate their homes with lights and oil lamps called 'diyas'

🎆 For many, Diwali honours the Hindu goddess of wealth, Lakshmi. The lights are said to help Lakshmi find her way into peoples' homes, bringing prosperity for the year ahead!
