Our teams will be working remotely on Christmas Eve, Wednesday 24 December 2025 , with the office closed on the upcoming Public Holidays and our team will be offline to have a well deserved break.

It’s been a pretty hectic 7 days! We have been able to tick off quite a bit on the to-do list.

✅ Moved an entire office space,
✅ Attended a pretty awesome event put on by The Disability Events Community - The DEC,
✅ Met some really cool people there, and may be able to join forces with them to create some exciting new programs in 2026,
✅ Consumed way too much coffee, and
✅ Gave our Events Team an eye twitch over the newly crinkled banner

Just in case you missed it, the NDIA will be reducing its activity from close of business Tuesday 24 December 2024 to Wednesday 1 January 2025.

If you need help during the festive season, the NDIS Contact Centre will continue to operate to assist with urgent enquiries from 8am-8pm (local time) Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

There are some important changes to our normal operating hours this festive season.

The NDIA will be reducing its activity from close of business Tuesday 24 December 2024 to Wednesday 1 January 2025. Regular operations will resume on Thursday 2 January 2025.

If you need help during the festive season, the NDIS Contact Centre will continue to operate to assist with urgent enquiries from 8am-8pm (local time) Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

Colin is attending the National Disability Services Executive Leaders Conference in Adelaide this week to keep informed of all the changes coming to the NDIS National Disability Insurance Scheme. Our team are playing 'Where's Wally' as official pictures come out from day one of the conference.

Colin has been soaking up all the information that came out of day one yesterday, and doing it all again today! We're so looking forward to being able to continue to support you on your NDIS journey, ensuring you get the supports when, and how you need.

What a whirlwind the last 24hours have been! We were invited along to the Connecting Katanning Expo which was held yesterday at the shire leisure centre, which meant some of our team went on a road trip! 🚙

Our CEO, Colin and our Business Services Coordinator, Kristen, were able to chat with a number of people who are experiencing frustration with the additional challenges of living remotely and needing access to fundamental supports and services.

It was amazing to be able to able to chat to so many people about our exciting Insight program which will allow participants to feel empowered to make decisions, and take control. Want to know how you can gain an insight with us? Reach out ✨

Exciting news for Katanning! 🏡👏 Thirteen new modular homes have been built and are being transported to Katanning to bolster the supply of social housing. Eight two-bedroom homes have been complete and are now providing accommodation to former applicants from the public housing waitlist, with another five under construction.
