headspace Midland

headspace Midland headspace Midland offers free health advice, support and information for young people aged 12 to 25.

We have four core streams of support which include mental health, physical health, alcohol and other drugs and work and study. Referring to headspace Midland: Anyone can refer you to headspace Midland if you are aged 12-25 as long as you have given consent and are aware of the referral. headspace Midland is a voluntary service, no one can force you to come here! Young people can self-refer, parents/carers/family members can refer a young person, GP's or other health professionals, teachers, school nurses/psychologists. headspace Midland brings together a wide range of service providers, so if you or someone you know needs physical health, mental health, drug and alcohol and/or education or vocational support headspace Midland is here to help. Equally if you or someone you know is not feeling quite right in any area of their lives but not sure why our access workers can make time to help people make sense of how they are feeling and assist them to access the help they need. There is no limit to how many times people can use the services at headspace Midland.

Today is the final day of 16 Days in WA but our commitment to creating a safer, more respectful community continues!

We were proud to join the Midland March That Matters last week, hosted by the Swan Family & Domestic Violence Network, and stand alongside young people, families, and local services who showed up to play their part. These 16 days remind us that change happens when we show up, speak up, and look out for one another. Ending gender-based violence takes all of us, and young people are an important part of that change.

A: No need to bring your ticket as we have a guest list.

Q: Can I bring friends who aren’t LGBTQIA+?
A: Yes! Allies are welcome too.

Q: Is there gender-neutral bathrooms?
A: Yes! The venue has gender-neutral bathrooms available for all attendees.

Q: Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
A: Yes, the venue is fully wheelchair accessible. Please let us know if you have specific access requirements.

Q: Is there a sensory or quiet space?
A: Yes! We have a dedicated sensory room where you can take a break from noise or lights if you need to. Staff will be happy to guide you to the space.

Q: Are there flashing lights or loud music?
A: Yes, there will be music and some light effects, including occasional flashing lights. If you are sensitive to these, please take care and feel free to use our sensory room or outdoor area.

Q: Will food or drinks be provided?
A: Yes, pizza, sushi, snacks and refreshments will be available throughout the evening.

Q: Are there vegetarian, vegan, or allergy-friendly options?
A: Yes, there will be gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options. Please let us know if you have specific allergies.

Q: Can I bring my own food or drink?
A: You’re welcome to bring personal items if needed, but please avoid glass containers.

Q: Is there parking available?
A: Yes, free parking is available on-site.

Q: Are there public transport options nearby?
A: Yes, the venue is easily accessible via Ellenbrook Train Station.

Q: Can I bring a bag, phone, or personal items?
A: Yes, but please keep valuables secure. Large bags may be subject to inspection for safety reasons.

Q: Is photography allowed? Will photos be shared publicly?
A: Photos will be taken by official photographers for promotional use. If you prefer not to be photographed, please collect a green wristband from staff.
