OTSG provides a variety of specialty occupational therapy services to the WA community. Our therapists have over 75 years of combined clinical experience.

Home Occupational Therapy Services was established in 1982, and has since grown to become a highly regarded occupational therapy service in the Perth metro area. Home Occupational Therapy Services has expanded to provide speciality services under the Occupational Therapy Services Group. Our team consists of seven dedicated Occupational Therapists with specialty skills in Home and Environmental Assessment; Community Rehabilitation; Falls Prevention; Driving Assessment and Rehabilitation; Neurological Assessment and Rehabilitation; & Consultancy Services. All of our Occupational Therapists are experienced in their area of work, & conduct careful, thorough & comprehensive assessments combined with client centred treatment. We all enjoy the challenge our work provides to us, and enjoy helping to maintain people safely & independently in the community. We believe our work integrates the multi-faceted skills required in Occupational Therapy, to meet the needs of different individuals. We also believe that Occupational Therapists have a valuable role and can have a huge impact on a person's ability to cope, maintain their independence, and be maintained well within the community. Our Services are located in Leeming, and extend throughout the Perth metropolitan region. We also regularly visit rural areas to provide our specialty services including the Bunbury, Geraldton & Kalgoorlie areas. All of our therapists are registered with the Australian Board of Occupational Therapy, and we are also members of the National & State OT Associations. We conduct ongoing professional development to ensure the highest level of services to our clients, and regularly share our skills with other therapists & students in local settings. The tees fit.. We wanted to hear from the team 👀💬
We asked a simple question: What does “It’s Cool To Cry” mean to you?💚
The answers were all a bit different. For some, it’s about being able to be real and not bottle things up. For others, it’s a reminder that it’s okay to have tough days.
But overall, it came back to the same thing
you don’t have to go through it alone.
It’s okay to feel, talk it out, and lean on the people around you 🤝

Have you noticed the team looking a little fresh this year… 👀

New tees, same impact 💪😎

We needed to order some new work tees, but also wanted to partner with something that makes a positive impact in the community... So, we reached out to the team at for a collab that just felt like the right fit 🤗

It’s a simple but important message - that it’s okay to feel, okay to talk, and okay to have ups and downs. That message really resonated with our team, and felt well aligned with the way we work alongside people every day!

You might have already spotted us wearing these out in the community and in sessions.

Because it really is okay to feel life’s ups and downs - and just as important that we support each other through them! 💚

That’s a wrap on 8 weeks with our Curtin OT students 🙌

Big thanks to Jennie, Clara and Zara for getting stuck in, stepping up to every opportunity, and bringing such a good vibe to the team. It’s been awesome watching your confidence grow each week out in the community.

Also shoutout to Tim, Ritu and Herman for all the support and guidance along the way.

What a week! 😅

Last week we were lucky to welcome the incredible Nikki Cousins from Action Occupational Therapy to Perth to work with our OTSG team ☺️

From leadership and supervision to sharpening our cognitive assessment processes, Nikki challenged, stretched and energised our clinicians - and the conversations in the room were next level!

Lots of learning and insights. Lots of reflection. Plenty of laughs! 🥳

December dump 📸

There was a whole lot packed into the final month of 2025… so here’s a December dump before we log off for the year!

What a month - and what a year. As the team heads off on a well deserved break, we just want to say thank you:

🙏 and to our incredible team for everything you’ve given this year

We’ll be back from the 5th January, with some exciting plans already in motion for 2026!

We couldn’t be prouder of this incredible achievement 🥇🥇🥉

After competing at the Special Olympics Western Australia, Lauren came home with an amazing two gold medals and a bronze medal in netball - and has this week been selected for the WA State Team to compete at the National Special Olympics! 💪🙌

This is such a huge milestone and a testament to her dedication, teamwork, and hard work both on and off the court. Alanna and Izzy have been working with Lauren for the past few years - and we’re so excited to see what comes next - the OTSG team will be cheering you on every step of the way!
