You can rest assured that a Registered Nutritionist is someone that has undertaken significant training to qualify in their field.
They typically hold a Bachelor and/or Masters degree in nutrition and can be professionally identified by the letters ANutr, RNutr or RPHNutr after their name.
Why do we need this? The Nutrition Society of Australia (NSA) established the register of Nutritionists to recognise and encourage the highest standards of education and professional training in the field, and to distinguish Nutritionists that are adequately trained from those who are not.
As Registered Nutritionists, we are bound by the NSA’s Code of Ethics and committed to undertaking further training and professional development to stay ahead of the latest developments in the nutrition field, and more importantly, take care of our clients to the best of our ability.
