This gentle, trauma-informed yoga therapy series offers a calm space to unwind, reconnect, and restore balance—physically and emotionally.

Led by Angela Black Wellness, each session blends mindful movement, breathwork, and simple relaxation techniques shown to ease anxiety and reduce stress.

This October, I’m stepping up for a cause close to my heart.

I’ll be walking 58km in honour of the 58 Australians diagnosed with breast cancer every single day — and to help drive the next breakthrough in research and treatment.

My feet give me grief most days, with the kind of discomfort that makes even short walks a challenge. But this October, I’m choosing to walk anyway. Not because it’s easy, but because it matters. I want to do my part , and every step I take is a step toward hope, research, and change. It might be slow going, but it’s going — and that’s what counts.

🌿 This week, I Moved Through Pain 🌿

It’s been a tender week. Pain showed up—uninvited, persistent, familiar. Not the kind that demands retreat, but the kind that whispers: “Go gently. Go slowly. But go.”

So I did. I moved with it. Not against it.

🧘‍♀️ Yoga isn’t a cure-all, but it is a companion. Research confirms what many of us feel intuitively: yoga can ease chronic pain, especially in the spine, joints, and nervous system. It improves mobility, mood, and quality of life—even when pain doesn’t disappear.

I didn’t push. I didn’t perform. I practised.

✨ Gentle stretching.
✨ Breath-led movement.
✨ Restorative stillness.
✨ Permission to pause.

Pain doesn’t mean we stop moving. It means we move with more care, more listening, more love.

If you’re hurting, you’re not alone. Your body is still worthy of movement, of breath, of grace.

Let’s keep moving—together.
