At My Calm Place you are invited to carve out some time just for yourself. Through the practice of meditation, gentle yoga and simple mindfulness exercises you can slow down and unwind from everyday stresses. Dedicating just a small fraction of time on a regular basis to self-care can have a significant impact on your overall wellbeing. And while it’s hard to prioritise it when you have so many other items on your to-do list, self-care is an essential aspect of stress management. I hope my sessions will help you create your own calm place within you where you can feel peaceful, balanced and more connected with yourself. All sessions are run in Perth. I look forward to meeting you in person!

This is my latest blog about some simple breathing techniques that can help us manage stress. We do lots of breathwork during the Relax and Restore Friday yoga class. We can use breath to ground ourselves in the present and relax the body- try these three techniques and let me know how you went!

These techniques can be easily incorporated into your busy day-to-day life and come in handy both, at your home and workplace. You can try them anywhere, anytime- I personally find them very calming and soothing.
