Your due date is not counted from conception!

Conception is really a series of steps and the beginning of pregnancy is actually when the fertilized egg attaches itself to the uterine wall, known as implantation.

Your due date is not counted from conception but rather is based on the day of your last menstrual period in a spontaneous conception.

Although it can also be calculated via ultrasound to a great accuracy of plus or minus 3 days, even then it is only an estimate of the arrival of your baby as we already know that only 5% of babies are born on their due dates.
