Keep pushing on with toxic positivity, yet all you feel like doing is collapsing in a heap. Another sick day is not going to go down well with the boss, but neither will the careless mistakes.

Time out seems impossible and sleep is a distant memory.

The pressures are situational so they aren’t going away for a while. I have to “push through”

These are all things I hear in my clinic cave.. a space where the mask can come down and reality is laid on the table.

NO herbs will change the situation… that’s correct!

However having something to settle the mental chatter, support better quality sleep and calm the emotional pressure is possible.

When our stress hormone is high for a long period of time the immune system can not function as it needs too. This is where core nutrients can be taken to help up regulate natural killer cells and the stress-immune partnership.

Antidepressants when paired with the correct herbs have a much higher success rate. It’s knowing how to pair the two together safely. That’s my expertise.

Full congratulations to this person is needed. With busy lives, families and a good dose of Aussie “she’ll be right” we often push forward until we can’t anymore.

Getting on top of small symptoms which are the bodies alarm bells save you time and money along side improving health.

Yes, I often see people when they have been everywhere else first. For me, this is sad.. however my door is open for where ever you are in your current journey.

I do encourage getting onto symptoms sooner rather than later. Always better.

School holidays amplify the pull. Am I correct?

Work, parenting, partnering, domestic goddess-ing, being a good friend and even the pets want your attention.

Sure head away for a few days, that’s a double edge sword. The packing and prepping is yet more mental load and then the thought of returning to the high pace life your snuck away from breeds anxiety like your boss just walked past your office on deadline day.

Is there a quick fix to this part of life?
Is there a magic pill to silence the pressure?
Is there a genie in a bottle to take the pressure?

Reality is some cases is no…

Some times we have to push through.

Yes lightening the pressure can be done a. The “you should” voices on your shoulder may be correct.

But for now you just have to get through:

Here’s the jam!

1. Herbs; they have the ability to keep the cortisol on the down low… reduce the mental athletics and bring mental clarity

2. Nutrients; let the jaw tightening, muscle cramping, wide eyed sleep settle and feel less exhausted on waking.

3. Assessment to double check it’s not more than the kids being demanding and the yelling is warranted. Knowing your hormones and pathology is truely optimal to work at the speed of 3 humans in a wonder woman movie.

Getting motivated and moving in the morning can be the hardest part of the day.

Maybe it’s because we have to face ground hog day, hormone hurdles or perimenopause is kicking our butt.

What ever it is, get the body cranking with a simple old fashion list.

1. Write the list
2. Tick off the morning task
3. Enjoy the Dopamine hit per tick.

Dopamine gets us motivated and moving. Let’s marry that list with a protein rich breakfast, theanine, B bits and a quality coffee. (I know, I just said it!)

The coffee must be after eating and not first thing or on an empty stomach. It is also not an open invitation to drinking instant coffee or multiple times a day.

Get ticking, write the post before you head to bed. I’ll start it:

Make the bed
Shower
Hair
Make lunch
Breakfast
Dance to 2 songs.

Sometimes we all need a circuit breaker. Doing the flower arranging evening was the best way to break up my busy week.

Mental load and decision fatigue is a hard one to switch off from. Yet getting creative is a such a brilliant way to do that.

Being a local course warehouse in Oconnor it was easy for me to head out for a couple of hours, have a cold glass of bubbles, some yummy snacks and laughter with other women.

The guided course and tips were just perfect to then be let loose to create at my Leisure. Amazing how everyone’s finished product was so different.

I walked away refreshed and with beautiful blooms@for my lounge room.

When the mood and energy of the morning has been captured by mental paralysis or school prep overwhelm, changing it up with a boost of dopamine has the power to change the full trajectory of the day.

Dance while getting dressed, doing lunch boxes or in the shower.

Crank a fun tune and sing around the house.

It’s a short 3-5min activity that will boost the brain to get going, be a circuit breaker for a downward spiral and give everyone a smile.

Try it, it’s a winner.
