What does it mean to be ill? 🤢
Illness and wellness are opposite ends of a spectrum which we divide into 5 Zones:
Zone 1 = The Wellness Zone
Zone 2 = The Good Health Zone
Zone 3 = The Comfort Zone
Zone 4 = The Poor Health Zone
Zone 5 = The Illness Zone
Zone 1: You feel great! Your body functions perfectly, you are energetic and your spirit is bright.
You adapt easily to change, you deal with emotions well, have regular bowel movements and you feel recovered after you sleep. 🏆
Zone 2: You have occasional symptoms but they disappear with attention and effort. Your body may be slightly changing, with fluctuations in weight and energy, but as long as you take care of yourself you can return to wellness. 👍🏽
Zone 3: You no longer feel energetic but are not lethargic either. You may not be depressed but are not happy either. You risk the effects of physical, chemical and emotional stress building up in the background without your awareness. The body may be acidic which makes you more susceptible to dis-ease. 🤔
Zone 4 - The Poor Health Zone
You have symptoms of poor health, however there may not be a clear pathology and your doctor can’t give you a clear diagnosis.
You have vague complaints - stomach ache, fatigue, unable to concentrate, random aches and pain, weight that is hard to shift.
If you don’t do something about this you risk deteriorating into Zone 4 🤒
Zone 5 - Illness
You have undeniable symptoms and may also have a diagnosis from a medical doctor. Auto-immune conditions, inflammation, digestive and reproductive issues, chronic pain, migraines and emotional stress are all common symptoms 🤢
No matter which Zone you are in, the key point to understand is that the loss of health is the issue, not the presence of symptoms. 🤔
