Fantastic!!!
I joined this workshop on a whim/a feeling. I had no idea I wanted a medicine drum, until I saw an advert from Blind Kat Creative. I was totally drawn in and what a beautiful day it was.
Kat has a lovely vibe, relaxed, open, intuitive and a wonderful faciltator. This is more than just making a drum... it's a spiritual experience.
I chose Kangaroo Hide and so happy with my choice. Looks and sounds amazing.

I realised today that a lot of my anxiety boils down to my need for perfection.

Perfect outfit
Perfect tidy home
Perfect insta feed
Perfect relationships
You name it; I make sure it is perfect!
Even when on the outside, I try to portray that I am 'easygoing' 🫣

So this is it - Right now I am releasing perfection and inviting acceptance, ease, and realism!

Would I choose to lose my sight again in my next life?
What a question!

I'm listening to "Aboriginal Secrets of Awakening" by Robbie Holz, where a paraplegic healer declared that he wouldn't change a thing about his life, including his disability, as it had taught him so much and changed his life for the better.

I agree.

If I hadn't lost my sight, I wouldn't be where I am now.
I wouldn't be so appreciative of subtle smells and sounds.
Non-spoken communication wouldn't be so loud.
My BS radar mightn't work so well.
My journey would be more physical than energy-led.
I almost certainly wouldn't be making drums!
Kindness wouldn't top my list of values.
And so on.

I came to this realm with a purpose, and I am grateful for every second of it ✨💛

Sure, I know some things about shamanism, energy, spirituality, sound, drums, etc., but compared to how much knowledge there is to learn, I'm right at the start line.
