🏃To move well is vital to our quality of life, yet humans are getting worse and worse and being able to perform simple movements in their day to day lives without pain or stiffness.🤸♀️
👎It seems we are now reverse evolving, with the introduction of all our office jobs, technology, mobile phone use and more.
👎Pain is on the increase and so is depression.
👎 We are taking for granted movement the human body is capable of.
This is more than just "one day you'll lose it when you're old so you should move now", we can be far more proactive about the damage society is having on our body, and choose to age more youthfully.
💭 I have always found it fascinating, how my 70-100 year olds, despite age working against them, often moved and responded better to exercise programs, than my 50-60year old patients.
❓Why? Because the elderly demonstrated increased discipline, and truly appreciated the importance of movement in order to keep doing the things in life they valued.
❌So dont let age be your excuse, we all have a choice. My elderly patients from the past all chose to keep moving, so they can keep doing the things in life they love.
What will you choose?🤔
