Gut-friendly vanilla nutty crunch granola 🥣

This recipe is so easy but so tasty and the perfect addition to yogurt, smoothie bowls, or as a snack on the go

Super rich in fibre, healthy fats, and prebiotic goodness for happy tummies

Ingredients:

1 cup rolled oats (optional if you want a grain-free version)
½ cup almonds
½ cup hazelnuts
¼ cup macadamias
¼ cup pumpkin seeds (pepitas)
2 tbsp sunflower seeds
½ cup coconut flakes
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp flaxseeds (ground)
2 tbsp maple syrup or raw honey
2 tbsp melted coconut oil
1 tsp vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste
1 tbsp of cinnamon
Big pinch of celtic sea salt

Air Fryer Method:
1.Mix all ingredients in a bowl until evenly coated.
2. Line the air fryer basket with baking paper (with holes poked through for airflow).
3. Cook for 8–10 minutes, shaking halfway. Keep an eye on it - nuts brown fast!
4. Cool completely before storing in a jar. It should crisp up as it cools

Oven Method
1. Preheat oven to 160°C (fan-forced).
2. Spread the mixture evenly on a lined baking tray.
3. Bake for 15–20 minutes, stirring halfway through, until golden brown.
4. Cool fully before transferring to a glass jar.

Sprinkle over kefir, Greek yoghurt or coconut yogurt and add berries or stewed apples for an extra gut boost and a hit of natural sweetness and antioxidants!

Your gut and skin are closely connected.

When your gut is inflamed, sluggish, or overburdened - your skin is usually the first place to show it.

Breakouts, dryness, redness, dullness, rashes - they’re all most likely inner signals, not surface issues to be treated with a trendy cream.

💥 Breakouts:

Gut-Nourishing Beef Meatballs with Bone Broth & Spinach

A grounding, protein-rich meal that supports gut health, skin, and hormone balance.

Ingredients (serves 2–3)

For the meatballs:

500g grass-fed beef mince
2 cloves garlic, finely minced
1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped
1 tbsp Best of the Bone, Gevity or Nutra Organics Bone Broth Concentrate (use straight from the jar — don’t dilute)
1 egg (or 2 tbsp flaxseed meal + 4 tbsp water for egg-free option)
2 tbsp almond meal or breadcrumbs
1 tsp Himalayan sea salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp olive oil or ghee

For serving:

1 cup cooked jasmine or brown rice
½ cup bone broth (to simmer meatballs in)
Fresh herbs (parsley or basil)

Optional: squeeze of lemon + drizzle of olive oil before serving
Instructions

Mix the meatballs:
In a large bowl, combine beef mince, garlic, chopped spinach, egg, almond meal, salt, pepper, and bone broth concentrate. Mix gently until combined (don’t overwork the mince or they’ll go tough).

Shape & bake:
Roll into small balls (~1.5 tbsp each). Bake in the oven for 12-15 mins, rolling them halfway so they cook through.

Serve:
Spoon the meatballs and broth over warm rice, scatter with herbs, and finish with a drizzle of olive oil or a squeeze of lemon.

Bone broth: Rich in collagen, glycine, and amino acids that repair the gut lining and support skin elasticity.
Spinach: Adds folate, magnesium, and prebiotic fibre.
Grass-fed beef: High in iron, zinc, and B12 — essential for energy and hormone production.

The two days after your colonic treatment are all about hydration, nourishment, and rest. It is important to give your body space and time to continue the detox process naturally.

You may feel light, calm, and energised, or experience mild bloating, fatigue, or emotional release, all normal signs your body is adjusting and letting go.
