Did you know most parents spend more time researching prams than preparing for birth? 👀

If your due date is creeping closer and your birth prep currently consists of:
panic-scrolling TikTok birth videos
asking your friends for horror stories
and hoping your instincts just magically kick in…
…it might be time to upgrade the plan 💅

My Hypnobirthing Australia Positive Birth Program classes teach you how to actually prepare for birth with evidence-based education, practical tools, mindset techniques, and partner prep—so you walk in knowing what’s happening, what your options are, and how to support your body through labour.

Hot take:
Just because someone has given birth…
doesn’t mean they’re qualified to advise you on yours 👀

Pregnancy is basically 9 months of:
✨ unsolicited opinions
✨ traumatic birth stories you didn’t ask for
✨ outdated advice from 1998
✨ people acting personally offended by your birth preferences

So if you’re feeling overwhelmed by everyone’s input—
normal as hell.

Because trying to prepare for birth while 47 people yell contradictory advice at you is enough to make anyone spiral.

Friendly reminder:
You do not have to listen to everyone.
You do not have to explain your choices.
And you do not need to accept advice from someone whose best qualification is
“well when I had babies…”

Protect your peace, babe.
Take the advice that aligns.
Leave the rest in the group chat.

Save this for the next time someone gives you labour advice before saying hello.

🚨 ONLY 1 SPOT LEFT IN MY APRIL HYPNOBIRTHING CLASS 🚨

Like… one.
As in uno.
As in if you keep “thinking about it” while folding tiny baby clothes and reorganising your hospital bag for the 7th time… someone else is probably booking it.

If birth currently feels like:

😵‍💫 “Surely I should know more than I do?”
😵‍💫 “My partner is supportive but would absolutely panic if labour started today.”
😵‍💫 “Everyone keeps saying ‘you’ll just know what to do’ and frankly that feels illegal.”

Babes.
This is your sign.

My Positive Birth Program is for the parents who want:
✨ Real education without the woo
✨ To understand their options
✨ A birth partner who knows more than “breathe babe”
✨ To go into birth feeling calm, confident and prepared AF

April class starts next weekend and there is ONE seat left.
When it’s gone, it’s gone.

📍 Perth / Cockburn
🎟 Book via link in bio or DM me “APRIL” and I’ll send details

Because birth doesn’t have to suck—

Easter calories don’t count.
I don’t make the rules… I just enforce them.

If you’re pregnant, postpartum or haven’t slept since 2007 — eat the egg.

No rules today, babe 💁🏼‍♀️

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with saying “no” — these are just alternative phrases for moments when your brain goes blank or you want to stay calm under pressure

If this felt reassuring,
follow along 🤍

You could just show up to birth and hope for the best…

Or you could walk in like:
“yeah I actually know what’s going on here” 💅

Because contrary to popular belief…
birth is not something you want to just ✨wing✨

These classes will teach you:
• what your body is actually doing
• how to stay calm when things ramp up
• and what your partner should be doing (besides saying “you’re doing great babe” on repeat 😂)

No fluff.
No weird vibes.
No chanting under a full moon.

Just real, practical tools that actually help when it matters.

April is nearly full 👀
May + July are filling too

So if you’ve been thinking about it… this is your sign.

Hey! Have we met yet? 👋
I’m Courtney — your doula-led, no-BS hypnobirthing educator in Perth 🤍

I’m here for the mums who:
• want to feel calm and in control
• don’t vibe with “just trust your body” as the only advice
• and would like their partner to be more helpful than just holding a leg 😌

I’m a doula, a Hypnobirthing Australia practitioner, and a childbirth educator — which basically means I spend my days helping people walk into birth feeling confident, informed, and actually supported.

No crystal balls.
No chanting circles.
Just evidence-based birth prep, good vibes, and yes… probably snacks.

I’ve supported births.
I’ve experienced birth.
I’ve also experienced postpartum anxiety, depression, and birth trauma — so the way I teach? It’s real, it’s honest, and it’s designed for actual birth, not perfect Instagram birth.

Around here you’ll find:
🍼 honest birth education
🤍 calm, confidence-building prep
😏 a little bit of humour to keep you sane

7 things you think you have to do in labour… but actually don’t 👀

Somewhere along the way, birth turned into this weird game of
“just do what you’re told and be a good patient.”

Hard pass.

You’ve got options. You’ve got rights.
And you’re allowed to question things—even in labour.

Let’s talk about it 👇🏼
1. Lie on your back
You absolutely do not need to be a starfish on a bed.
Move. Sway. Lean. Get on all fours.
Your pelvis will thank you.

2. Be quiet and “well behaved”
This is not a library.
You can moo, roar, swear, breathe like Darth Vader… whatever gets you through.

3. Say yes to every intervention
You are allowed to ask:
“Do I need this?”
“Can I have a minute?”
“Are there other options?”
It’s your body. Not a group project.

4. Stay in bed the whole time
You’re not unwell—you’re in labour.
Walking, bouncing, leaning, showering = all fair game.

5. Give birth on your back
Again… no.
Upright positions can actually help baby move down more easily. Wild, right?

6. Push the second someone tells you to
Your body usually knows what it’s doing.
You don’t need to force it on command like you’re in a gym class.

7. Stick with a provider you don’t vibe with
If something feels off—you’re allowed to speak up.
Ask questions. Request someone else. Advocate for yourself.

Feeling safe and supported in your birth space?
Non-negotiable.

⸝

Birth isn’t about being the “perfect patient”
It’s about understanding your options and backing yourself.

Save this for later (or send it to your birth partner 👀)
And if you want to actually feel confident walking into birth—not just hoping for the best…

You’ve thought it.
You’ve Googled it at 2am.
You’ve typed it… then deleted it because “surely it’s just me??” 👀

Welcome to Normal or Nah?

The series where we talk about the things no one really warns you about…
but everyone experiences.

We’re covering:
• pregnancy weirdness
• birth fears + myths
• postpartum “wtf is happening to my body” moments
• and all the in-between chaos

No judgement.
No fluff.
No “just relax and breathe” advice 🙃

Just honest, evidence-based, real talk
from someone who’s been there and supports women through it every day 🤍

Because birth doesn’t have to suck…
but guessing your way through it? Yeah, that part does.

And if you’ve got a “normal or nah??” question…
drop it below or DM me anonymously 💌

“it’s just like period pain” they said…

bestie. respectfully.
that is not helpful.

If the thought of labour pain makes you feel a bit 😵‍💫😳🚨
you are not weak.
you are not dramatic.

you’ve just been given ✨zero context✨

Because no one actually explained:
• what contractions are
• why they feel intense
• and how your body is literally designed to do this

So your brain goes:
“cool cool cool… we are in danger 👍”

And then everything feels worse.

Here’s the part I care about —
you don’t need to be fearless to give birth.

You just need to feel safe enough in what’s happening.

That’s what real birth prep is.
Not “just breathe”
Not “hope for the best”

Actual tools.
Actual understanding.
Actual support.

The kind that has you walking in like
“okay… I’ve got this” 💅

If this is exactly what you needed to hear — save it 🤍

and if you want that level of calm, confidence and “I actually know what I’m doing” energy…

comment CLASS or DM me and I’ll send you the details.

Because birth doesn’t have to suck —
and you deserve better than just winging it.
