We’re excited to invite you to the Trigg Art Club Spring Art Exhibition – a showcase of stunning original works by local artists.

✨ Every artwork is unique and available for purchase – a perfect way to support local artists while giving back to our community.

📢 Congratulations to WA athletes Eleanor Flowers of Trigg Island Surf Life Saving Club, and Mitchell Tuckey of City of Bunbury Surf Life Saving Club, who have been selected in the Australian Lifesaving Team Development Squad following their performances at the recent Australian and Interstate Pool Rescue Championships.

The Development Squad will take on the New Zealand Pool Championships to be held in Auckland from the 26th – 28th September. We wish them the best of luck!

On 7 January 2025, while enjoying a day on a mate’s boat in Thomson’s Bay, Rottnest, Trigg member Geoff Gilmore witnessed a light aircraft crash into the water.

Without hesitation, Geoff and his mate sped to the scene, diving into aviation fuel-covered waters to reach those trapped in the wreckage.

Today, Geoff was recognised with the Gold Medallion for Exceptional Bravery at the Surf Life Saving Coastal Bravery Awards - a truly deserved honour for an extraordinary act of courage.

We are incredibly proud of you, Geoff.

Our condolences are out to all of John’s family and friends. The coastal community is all thinking of you at this difficult time 💚❤️🤍

𝐕𝐀𝐋𝐄 | SLSWA is saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Surf Life Saving Australia President John Baker AM ESM.

President of SLSA since 2021, John was also a passionate volunteer, serving as an active patrolling member at Brighton SLSC for over 40 years.

On behalf of all West Australian members, we extend our sympathies to John's family, friends and loved ones.

Club Member Peyton involved in some filming for a commercial today. Peyton recently won Young Community Person of the Year with the citystirlingwa for all of her volunteer work at the club. Today she is involved in helping bring together a commercial to promote the award that will be shown on channel9.
