💚 The Heart Chakra: Where Connection Begins 💚

The heart chakra is the energetic bridge between the physical and spiritual - the space where your animal’s capacity to give and receive love resides. Located in the centre of the chest, it governs not only the heart and lungs, but also emotional balance, relationships, and empathy.

When your animal’s heart chakra is open and balanced, you’ll notice a deep sense of calm, connection, and trust. They bond easily, express affection freely, and seem at peace within themselves and their world.

But when this chakra becomes blocked or overactive, it can manifest in surprising ways:

💔 Emotional withdrawal or clinginess
💔 Jealousy toward other animals or people
💔 Fear of abandonment or loss
💔 Respiratory or circulatory issues
💔 Grief that doesn’t seem to pass

Just like humans, animals grieve, love, and attach deeply. Their heart chakra reflects the emotional atmosphere around them - often mirroring the love, stress, or heartbreak their guardian feels.

✨ Healing the heart chakra isn’t just about restoring your animal’s balance - it’s about healing the energetic connection between you both. Through gentle energy balancing, intention, and compassion, you can help your animal (and yourself) open to love again, in its purest form.

💚 Sometimes, healing the heart chakra is as simple as this: slowing down, being present, and letting your animal remind you what unconditional love truly feels like.

Your animal's body is keeping a record of everything.

Every moment of fear. Every experience of love. Every time they felt safe - or unsafe.

And here's what most people don't realise: these experiences don't just live in their memory. They're stored as ENERGETIC IMPRINTS in their chakra system.

This is why:
✨ Behavioural issues persist despite perfect training
✨ Physical symptoms appear without clear medical cause
✨ Anxiety surfaces in situations that "shouldn't" be triggering

Your animal isn't being difficult. They're responding to the energetic library of their entire life story.

In my new blog, I explain:

💚 How each chakra stores different types of experiences
❤️ Why chakra imbalances show up as behaviour and health problems
💜 How energy healing can release what training and medicine can't touch

This completely changed how I understand and help animals. It might do the same for you.

🌿 The Hidden Web of Energy in Your Animal’s Body 🌿

Everything in your animal’s body is connected - energy, emotion, and biology.
Meridians, chakras, organs, and even muscles form a single energetic network that communicates constantly beneath the surface.

When one part of that network becomes imbalanced - say a blocked chakra or a stressed meridian, the effects ripple outward. An emotional stress can weaken a corresponding organ, which in turn affects the muscle linked to that organ. Over time, this can lead to tension, discomfort, or even changes in your animal’s behaviour.

🐾 For example:

🐶 A dog with tight hamstrings might be holding stress in the bladder meridian - linked to fear or insecurity.

🐈 A cat with a sluggish digestive system may have a solar plexus chakra imbalance - connected to control and self-assurance.

🐴 A horse that resists direction might be mirroring a blockage in the liver meridian - linked to frustration and suppressed emotion.

💫Energy doesn’t exist in isolation. It moves as a system.

That’s why holistic modalities like Animal Kinesiology are so powerful - they don’t just treat symptoms; they trace them back through the energetic web to find and correct the root imbalance.

✨ When the energy flows freely again, harmony returns - physically, emotionally, and behaviourally.

⚡️My most controversial article yet...⚡️

Let’s talk about the real reason things aren’t changing with your animal.

It’s not because you haven’t found the right trainer.
It’s not because you’re missing the perfect technique.
It’s because the behaviour isn’t the only problem - it's a mirror!

And here’s the part that makes people uncomfortable (and liberated, all at once):
You can’t change your animal’s behaviour without also being willing to face your own.

This truth is confronting. It asks you to stop searching for the quick fix and start listening to what your animal is actually showing you - about you.

But it’s also incredibly freeing. Because when you finally face the thing you’ve been avoiding… everything begins to shift.

🐾 This is not an easy read - it’s an honest one.

Both can be true: confronting and liberating.

I am deeply saddened by the news of Dr. Jane Goodall’s passing. 🕊️

For decades she’s been one of my guiding lights - from her groundbreaking work with chimpanzees to her tireless efforts in conservation and inspiring generations to care for the planet. Her passion, humility, and boundless love for the natural world taught me so much about empathy, curiosity, and responsibility.

Thank you, Dr. Goodall, for showing us how to look more closely, listen more gently, and act more compassionately. The world is dimmer without you, but your legacy will continue to inspire us all. 💚

With great sadness, the Jane Goodall Institute confirmed this morning the passing of the organization’s founder, Dr. Jane Goodall, age 91 who died peacefully in her sleep while in Los Angeles, CA for her speaking tour in the United States.

Dr. Goodall’s life and work not only made an indelible mark on our understanding of chimpanzees and other species, but also of humankind and the environments we all share. She inspired curiosity, hope and compassion in countless people around the world, and paved the way for many others — particularly young people who gave her hope for the future.

In 1960 Dr. Goodall established the longest running wild chimpanzee study in Gombe National Park, Tanzania which continues to this day. She pioneered and sustained the Jane Goodall Institute’s community-centered conservation initiatives across the chimpanzee range for over four decades. Her legacy includes the creation of JGI’s international environmental and humanitarian youth program Roots & Shoots, which is actively driving change in 75 countries and counting around the world.

The Jane Goodall Institute is incredibly grateful to all our supporters, partners, and friends, especially during this difficult time. To add a personal remembrance of Dr. Goodall and continue her legacy for future generations, please visit JaneGoodall.org/RememberingJane

Animals have a way of bringing us back to ourselves.
They don’t rush us. They don’t fix us.
They simply are - calm, present, and quietly attuned to our energy.

When the world feels overwhelming or uncertain, their grounded presence offers something we often forget we need… a safe place to land.

Their stillness teaches us how to breathe again.
Their trust reminds us we’re worthy of love just as we are.

✨ Have you ever felt that kind of safety in your animal’s presence? That moment of “I can let go now”?

It really is one of life's most precious things.

🌿 Understanding Your Animal’s Base Chakra 🌿

Just like humans, animals have energy centres - chakras - that influence their physical, emotional, and behavioural wellbeing. The Base Chakra (or Root Chakra) is the foundation of this system, located at the base of the spine. It governs security, stability, and trust in the world.

When this chakra is balanced, your animal feels safe, grounded, and confident. But when it’s out of balance, it can show up in both behavioural and physical ways.

Signs of Imbalance in the Base Chakra:

🐾 Behavioural:
➡️ Excessive fear or anxiety, especially around loud noises or new environments
➡️ Possessiveness over food, toys, or territory
➡️ Restlessness or difficulty settling down
➡️Aggression triggered by perceived threats or insecurity

🐾 Physical:
👉🏼 Issues with the hind legs, hips, or lower spine
👉🏼 Digestive problems or irregular elimination
👉🏼Weak immune response or frequent illness
👉🏼Problems with the tail or base of the tail

Animals with an imbalanced Base Chakra often carry fear or insecurity, which can mirror the emotional energy of their human guardians. Supporting this chakra can create a profound sense of safety, trust, and calm in your animal’s life.

💫 Ways to Support the Base Chakra:

☘️Grounding activities like walks on natural terrain or gentle massage
🧪 Using vibrational essences designed for stability and calm
💪🏼Positive reinforcement for confident behaviours
🙏 Gentle energy healing or animal kinesiology sessions

Your animal’s behaviour isn’t just a quirk - it’s a message from their energy body. Observing and addressing these signs can help them (and you) feel more grounded, safe, and at ease.

🌈 Did You Know? Your Animal’s Chakras Are Like Libraries of Their Life! 📚🐾

Every experience your animal has—both good and bad—leaves an imprint on their energy system. Chakras, the energy centres of the body, act like libraries, storing the energetic memory of all these moments. From joyful playtime to stressful situations, these experiences shape your animal’s emotional and physical wellbeing.

💫 When chakras are balanced, your animal thrives, feeling happy, calm, and connected. But when past traumas, stress, or negative emotions get stuck in a chakra, it can create stress and resistance that manifests as behaviour problems or health issues. 🐕💫

Here’s the fascinating part 🔎: By understanding the chakra system, you can learn how to decode your animal’s behaviour and uncover what past experiences might be contributing to their current stress or imbalances.

It's like unlocking a secret book of their emotional and physical history! 📖✨

Want to know more about how your animal’s chakras might be affecting their wellbeing? 🧘‍♀️🐾

The Animal Biofield: A Symphony of Frequencies 🐾

What if I told you your animal’s health, emotions, and even their behaviour could be felt before it’s ever seen?

Every animal carries a unique energetic blueprint - what we call the biofield. It’s like a symphony of invisible frequencies, orchestrated by everything from their heartbeat to their emotions. 💓✨

This biofield isn’t woo - it’s science and energy medicine beautifully intertwined:

🔬 Cells vibrate, creating micro-patterns of frequency
💓 Organs resonate, especially the heart, influencing the entire system
🌿 Meridians conduct energy, forming the body’s inner electrical grid
🧠 The brain pulses, adding waves of neural rhythm
💫 Emotions ripple, shaping the field with joy, fear, calm or stress

When your animal is healthy and emotionally balanced, these vibrations sing in harmony. But trauma, stress, or physical illness can disrupt the field - often before symptoms show up. That’s why sensitive animals often pick up on our energy shifts before we’ve even realised them ourselves.

In my work with Animal Kinesiology, I tune into these biofield patterns to uncover the deeper story behind your animal’s behaviour or health challenges. Because sometimes, what looks like a behavioural issue... is actually a vibrational imbalance.

Your animal is always listening to the frequency of life. Are you?

“In the quiet gaze of an animal, we find answers to questions we didn’t know we were asking - arriving in our lives as teachers, healers, and kindred souls.”

They don’t come into our lives by accident. They come with purpose.
To mirror our hidden wounds.
To soften our sharp edges.
To remind us who we truly are beneath the masks and the noise.

If you’ve ever looked into your animal’s eyes and felt something shift, like they were reading your heart better than you could — that’s the magic of the emotional bond we share.

They are not just our companions.
They are our guides.

Awaken the Wild Within 🐾✨

Our bond with animals is meant to mirror the harmony of nature—built on co-operation, not control. 🐕🌿

Dominance often comes from fear: fear of what feels untamed in our animals… or perhaps the wildness within ourselves.

When we move from fear to trust, everything changes. True co-operation asks us to meet our shadows with courage. Fear only multiplies fear. But trust? Trust creates connection, safety, and growth. 💞

Next time you see fear behaviours in your animal, pause. Ask yourself: What might this be reflecting in me?

The wild isn’t here to be silenced—it’s here to be honoured. Together, you and your animal can step into balance, harmony, and freedom. 🌍❤️

Our Story

Animal Kinesiology uses a combination of western anatomy and Traditional Chinese Medicine to identify the location and cause of stress within the body. The stress can be both physical and emotional. Clearing the cause of stress allows the animal to restore natural balance and wellness. Bowen Therapy is a hands-on muscle release technique that removes physical stress, increases movement and aids with pain relief in areas of inflammation. Highly beneficial for dogs suffering from arthritis, muscle strain and rehabilitation from surgery.
