Transition to Mixed Billing on Monday - Friday, we will continue to private bill all patients on weekends and public holidays

To Our Valued Patients,

We would like to advise that Wanneroo Total health Care is transitioning to mixed billing on Thursday 1st of December 2022

Unfortunately, due to rising costs of staff wages, medical supplies, insurances, and utilities, coupled with the fact that the Government has only increased the standard consultation fee by $4 over the last 9 years which have not kept up with inflation, it is no longer financially viable to continue to provide high quality medical service whilst bulk billing all our patients.

Patients that does not fall under the below categories will have an out of pocket fees.

The following patient groups will continue to be bulk billed Monday - Friday:

• Children under 16 years of age
• Pension Card Holders/ DVA Card Holders
• Health Care Card / Concession Card Holders
. Patients over 65 years of age with a pension card
• Care Plans ,Health Assessments and Mental Health Assessments
• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders Government -funded immunisations

We have kept the fee as low as possible and patients will be required to pay for their consultation, in full, on the day of consultation, Medicare rebate will be processed during payment and will be back in your account within 24 hours.

Accounts are unfortunately not able to be given, Medicare rebate will be processed immediately at the practice.


A cancellation fee may apply if you fail to turn up to your appointment or cancel your appointment within 2 hours of appointment booking time.
