Part 2… 💧

We turned the tap on… and entered the building snag phase 😅

A small leak we didn’t expect, a few things not quite right… and a reminder that moving into a tiny home isn’t a perfect handover … it’s a process.

Today also looked like:
Installing our composting toilet
Mixing up the starter bucket
Kids fully involved in it all (mess and all)

Not glamorous at all… but it’s a new experience.

This is what it actually takes to get set up.

Learning as we go… one system at a time.

10/04/2026

We moved into our tiny home with no running water… ❌🚿

so this is what life looked like for us at the start🤣

It wasn’t aesthetic…
but it was real.🚰

And just when we thought we had it all set up…
things didn’t go to plan…

Part 2 tomorrow 👀

07/04/2026

Moving in didn’t look how we imagined…

No water. No gas. No fridge.
Sleeping on air mattresses.
Still waiting on everything to arrive.

But this is the part no one really shows you.

The in-between.
The uncomfortable.
The “are we doing the right thing?” moments.

And honestly… this is where the real shift begins.

Not when everything is finished.
But when you’re forced to slow down and just be in it.

Tiny home living isn’t just aesthetic…

It’s a transition.

And we’re right in it…

everyday we feel it changing us

for the better on deep levels that feel so nourishing in all faucets of our live…

Ps. However I will say… don’t do what we did and move in straight away. We are doing camp style in our Tiny Home but it is due to moving interstate and AirBnb prices after 5 weeks 💰💰💰

stay tuned for more of setting up our Tiny whilst living in it.

We have landed… but not in the way I imagined.

No deck.
No proper set up (yet).
Still figuring out water, space, and daily rhythm.

But after everything it took to get here…
we’re finally on land.

And that feels like enough for now.

This is the beginning of our tiny home life …not the polished version… the real one.

No TV. No space. Two toddlers… this is what happened…

Witnessing our children transition into tiny home life has been such a mindfulness practice.

We didn’t project how they should adjust… we just watched.

And what I’ve realised is … children are far more adaptable than we are.

Phoenix 3 had gotten used to screens during our busy season… but since moving into the tiny (with no TV), he hasn’t even asked for it.

Instead, I’ve noticed something else… boredom.

That in-between space where he doesn’t quite know what to do yet.

Part of me wants to fill it for him…
but another part of me knows this is where creativity is born.

Learning a new space takes time… for all of us.

But for children, it’s also learning how to play again.
Outside. With nature. With imagination.

Memphis 2 is already there.

And maybe this is the reminder
that boredom isn’t something to fix… it’s something to allow.

Because that’s where the magic begins

✨ A Quiet Year of Becoming ✨
I almost didn’t write this post… mostly because this year felt like a blur of growth, change, and quiet lessons that only make sense once you pause long enough to reflect.
But I did finally sit down and wrap up my year in words.

This past year I wrote 23 articles… about identity, emotional growth, conscious living, tiny home dreams, and learning how to let go of old versions of myself.

Some pieces surprised me (hello, Gift Guide 😅), others stretched me emotionally, and a few changed me in ways I didn’t expect.

I wrote about:
• navigating identity shifts
• moving through emotional pain
• living more intentionally
• eco-living & community
• and the beginning of our tiny home journey
It’s been a quiet year of becoming… and I finally shared it all in one place.

If you’ve been feeling like you’re in between chapters, or slowly evolving into someone new… this one might resonate 🤍

Trying to capture behind the scenes as much as possible especially in design mode.

But it is exciting and overwhelming and I got honestly 100 tabs open on my laptop 💻 running at the moment

5 browsers on all handles
20 on my overall designs and Pinterest, Instagram, Canva, ChatGPT, suppliers and more

In Canva alone I have created 10 different whiteboards of every room to piece of furniture I have considered to put into this tiny and customise…. It is so detailed it’s crazy 🤪

Off to bed now… 😴 try to share more tomorrow

TINY HOME EXPO
Today was not really about seeing tiny homes as we have already started our design process and will be signing of this or next week on the final concept.

We wanted to go and learn and connect with the tiny home community. Gather more ideas for our design and see in person materials and supplies.

When we found out Bryce Langston YouTube Host of was going to be speaking we were thrilled to go even more!

We not only got to hear his amazing inspiring speech which felt insanely connected to the message I have been sharing in my teachings like as he opened up by saying we have 3 homes! 🤯👏🏽

First Home - The Human Body
Second Home - The Planet (Biosphere)
Third Home - Our House (Shelter in the Biosphere)

The way I speak about them in my yoga teachings is;
1. Inner Home (mind body soul)
2. Physical Home (the house)
3. Outer Home (the planet)
And how we need to Care More about the first 2 and naturally the 3rd one will reset itself as Mother Earth knows how to repair herself if we make changes to let that happen.

Honestly my mind was blown away 🤩🥳👏🏽✨

I couldn’t believe my ears when he opened up his speech like that. But then I could because we are all connecting to this same conclusion whether through Living Tiny or Yoga Lifestyle we are ultimately coming back home to the basics needs of what we need as humans to exist in this world.

Our whole family left the expo feeling thrilled by all we experienced. The boys didn’t want to go home and cried the whole way home.
