The year of the Fire Horse 🔥

The year of the snake is out.
So what are you shedding for 2026?

For me, it’s overthinking and half commitments (and salt and vinegar pringles)

I’ve been quietly working on a new program for the last 6 months with a mentor. Built exclusively for people 40+ with a fire still burning.

It’s about:
• Clarity over complexity
• Executing the basics instead of thinking about them
• Commitment for a full year
• Extremely limited intake (by design)

More on that when it's ready

For now, if you’re short on time and want something effective, try this session 👇

Time-efficient full body
Goblet squat 3x12
Cable chest flye 3x12
Single arm cable row 3x12 (video)
Walking DB lunge with 1/4 pause at the bottom (video)
DB lateral raise 2x12

What are you leaving behind this year?

That moment when everything clicks! 🙌

A tiny tweak in technique and suddenly you feel the muscle you’ve never engaged before.

When movement flows, the load spreads evenly, and your body works the way it’s meant to.

Or that extra rep you didn’t think you had in you….because you had the right support.💪

Ready to make those moments happen in 2026?

Join classes with me at or book 1:1 coaching for a more personal approach!

DM me to start, let get it!!

That moment when a small technique tweak suddenly helps someone feel a muscle they’ve never engaged before.

When their movement clicks and the load finally spreads the way it should.

Or when they squeeze out that extra rep they wouldn’t have got on their own.

Come train with me in 2026 classes at or one on one coaching if you want something more personal.

It's hard enough getting back to exercise between meetings, family, friends and life admin.

Don't let your body stop you.

After 40 mobility isn't optional anymore.

January is when you'll likely be at peak motivation for fitness and health. December is the best time to start some mobility.

We are here to get you going.

Slightly controversial life hack to stay unbroken (and in shape) after 40. (And another hot take at the bottom)

Stretch while you train!!

Beats scrolling on your phone between sets.

And if you’re like me and find stretching boring this helps you actually do it consistently. Which means over time, your body gets more bendy and less broken.

Now before someone mentions “stretching reduces performance”... yes, if you’re a sprinter about to run the 100m finals, don’t hold a static hamstring stretch.

But if you’re pressing 17.5kg dumbbells and your hips are tighter than your work pants after Christmas…
you’ll be fine. And you'll have less pain.

Also… yes, I’m into the new Taylor Swift album. 🎧

If you need some guidance or accountability around your stretching and training, get in touch or book online.

Thanks for the pics

Before and after our backyard renovations

We've cried, dug in the pouring rain, made 400 trips to Bunnings, had kids playing in the mud, strained oblique muscles, moved 1000 bricks 🧱

But I'm so proud of the result

We;

- Added deck
- Painted alfresco beams
- Added outdoor heaters
- Electric blinds
- Removed balustrades
- Dug up tress and never ending roots
- In ground trampoline
- New lawn with soakwells
- Retic
- Wall mounted shelving

Thanks for the concepts, the help in the rain 🌧️ and for believing in my sub par handyman skills

My client Pete for the deck

for the blinds

My Dad for all the hard work over many weekends

Bumper (our blind rabbit) for putting up with a constantly changing backyard

My client Steve for help on the retic

Our kids for helping with shovels and wheelbarrows and for keeping things fun

All family and friends for the help

Assisted stretching/ Stretch to Win

We use assisted fascial stretching to improve clients flexibility and reduce pain. A typical session involves mobilisation of joints, decompression of hips and lower backs and gentle full body stretching to release muscles which have been tight for many years.

Our clients report significantly reduced pain and free movement after the first session and we have helped clients with pinching hips, chronic lower back pain and many other conditions move and feel better using Stretch to Win.

Our services are claimable under private health and all of our therapists are highly qualified and passionate body workers.
