The teres minor muscle lies just underneath the infraspinatus on the shoulder blade. It then attaches to the humerus.

The teres minor helps the infraspinatus rotate the arm outward.

If there are any issues with this muscle, you will probably feel it on the back of the shoulder where it attaches to the humerus.

It can also cause a worrisome numbness or tingling in the fourth and fifth fingers.

One of the ways to deal with this is to use foam rolling or soft tissue release.
