I’ve been a mum for almost 5 years now 🤯

Safe Sleep Practices 🩵
Ensuring a safe sleep environment is paramount for the well-being of infants. As a paediatric sleep specialist, I emphasize the importance of following the ABCs of safe sleep: Alone, on their Back, and in a Cot. Infants should always sleep alone, without any soft bedding or toys that could pose suffocation risks. Placing babies on their backs reduces the likelihood of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). The sleep space should be a firm cot mattress with a fitted sheet, avoiding loose bedding or bumper pads. Room-sharing without bed-sharing is encouraged for at least the first six months to promote caregiver proximity without compromising safety. By adhering to these guidelines, parents can create a secure sleep environment, fostering optimal conditions for healthy and uninterrupted sleep in their infants 🩵
