✨🦷✨Let's talk wisdom teeth ✨🦷✨

Did you know that some of the most common dental issues in our mouths are caused by our wisdom teeth? It is very common for our jaws to not have sufficient space for our wisdom teeth to erupt normally which often means they become stuck or impacted. In these cases or when there is a difficulty in cleaning them it can lead to a lot of discomfort in our mouths like gum infections and tooth decay and therefore our wisdom teeth need to be removed.

Our team at Sing Sing Dental are highly trained in diagnosing and (in some cases) removing wisdom teeth.

👋 Have you been to visit us recently for your regular examination and clean?

🦷It is so important to practice good oral health care at home by brushing and flossing, but we recommend that you visit our practice every 6months - 12months to avoid major dental problems in the future, including tooth decay, Gum disease and bone loss.

-WHAT DOES A EXAMINATION AND CLEAN VISIT INVOLVE? GREAT QUESTION!! ☺️
During your regular visit we examine all your teeth and note any abnormalities or changes, we answer any questions or concerns that you may have and offer treatment plans for any treatment that is required.
We also sometimes take some x-rays to check for decay in between teeth and monitor your bone level.
We then will scale/clean your teeth to remove calculus and plaque build up, we polish your teeth too which can remove generalised staining. Then we usually finish with a fluoride treatment which helps strengthen and protect your teeth.
YOU WILL ALWAYS LEAVE WITH THAT FRESH CLEAN TEETH AND MOUTH FEELING, which alot of people say at the end, can I come every week for this feeling?? 😜

Our staff Christmas party on the weekend was filled with good food and lots of laughs. We love to socialise outside of the dental practice and always have a great time together.
