If you'd like to measure your p***s, we recommend using a soft measuring tape (for obvious reasons 😬). Place the end of the tape where the shaft begins from the p***c bone, holding the tape along the shaft and extending it to the tip of the p***s. To measure the girth of your p***s, the best indicator of size is to wrap the tape around the middle of your shaft.

Remember, p***ses come in all shapes and sizes, and there are a number of factors that can affect measurements. Size alone doesn’t define function or confidence.

A buried p***s is where the p***s is covered by excess skin or fat. Due to this covering in the p***c, abdomen or sc***um area, the p***s can appear smaller than it actually is. A buried p***s can be caused by excessive fluid retention, excess fat, ligament problems and complications following circumcision.

Those with a buried p***s may experience psychological disadvantages or affected urination and sexual arousal. Sometimes maintaining a healthy weight isn’t enough to stop a buried p***s, and so losing weight doesn’t fix how ‘hidden’ the p***s appears. In these cases, treatment for a buried p***s usually involves surgery.

A man won't typically notice a declining s***m count without specific tests, however, there are certain situations where a low s***m count may become apparent. For example, you may notice difficult conceiving, low libido, or fatigue.

A reduced s***m count may occur due to:

↘️ Poor lifestyle factors, such as smoking, lack of exercise, and a poor diet
↘️ Substance use (alcohol, anabolic steroids, illicit drugs etc.)
↘️ Stress
↘️ Poor sleep
↘️ Medical conditions (e.g. hormone imbalances or infections)

While s***m count and quality often decline with age, it’s best to speak with your doctor if you have any concerns.

Testosterone levels naturally decrease with age, typically from age 30 onwards. Unlike the sudden hormonal drop in menopause for women, the decline is gradual in men 📉

Common consequences of a drop in testosterone include increased body fat, reduced muscle mass and strength, and decreased bone density 🦴

Consistently low testosterone levels may also lead to testicle atrophy - that is, testicles can become smaller and softer. It can also lead to decreased s***m count and libido.

If you're concerned about changing testosterone levels, don’t hesitate to speak with your doctor. It’s a normal part of ageing for all men, and there are effective ways to manage both the physical and emotional changes.

Have you ever wondered why testicles are so sensitive to pain? 🥲

Testicles have a high concentration of nerve endings, meaning they're sensitive to touch, pressure, and injury. Unlike other organs, they sit outside of the body, meaning they don't have muscle around them for protection. Further, pain signals from the testicles share nerve pathways with the lower abdomen and kidneys, meaning testicular pain can cause nausea, cramps, or back pain.

Is your semen telling you something? 💦

Semen is typically white or greyish in colour (a slight yellow tint is also normal), with a thick, gel-like texture that gradually becomes more watery after ej*******on. Semen often has a mild chlorine or bleach-like odour, and generally 2-5ml is released per ej*******on.

While some changes can occur due to age, diet, and other factors, abnormalities in semen such as blood, a foul odour, pain during ej*******on, or changes in consistency or volume, should be discussed with your doctor.
