RU OK? Day 💛

The rain didn't stop our amazing participants from joining in! We painted flowerpots, planted seeds , and enjoyed party pies and sausage rolls.

We ended the day by picking and sharing little motivational quotes which was a reminder to each of us as to why we matter!

Last Friday and Saturday was amazing! We’ve had wonderful chats with people from all walks of life about our services, NDIS questions, and so much more. 💬💡A huge shoutout to our Engagement Team Bailey and Richard for smashing it today engaging with everyone and sharing loads of helpful info! 🙌

A slow start to a strong day 🧘

This morning our participant Maddie started her day with a calm and relaxing yoga session with her support worker Lu and Case Manager Yangchen.

It's always beautiful to see our team and participants connect through moments like these which are mindful, meaningful, and full of positive energy.

They say that even the smallest act of kindness creates ripples that reach far beyond what we can see.

Today, we are reminded of this truth through Sam's beautiful gesture.

Sam generously donated magazines and crafting kits for our recreational hall, saying, "We thought it would be nice to have more reading magazines for those who visit the rec hall."

Thank you, Sam, for your thoughtfulness and for bringing a sense of connection to our community.

She’s been working hard and following her dream of becoming a barista and we couldn’t be more proud.

Her journey’s just beginning, and we can’t wait to see where it takes her and her coffee skills!. 💫

Our beloved participant Mick is soon publishing his very own book, Hunker Down!

This inspiring collection is filled with rich, heartfelt poetry drawn from his personal journey and lived experiences.

Mick's words offer a powerful glimpse into resilience, reflection, and the beauty of storytelling through verse.

We were honoured to recently celebrate this incredible milestone with him.

Recently, our participants came together to create their own masterpieces inspired by the unique landmarks and beautiful wildlife of Western Australia.

Some chose to paint the majestic landscapes and iconic animals that define our region, while others breathed life into cherished memories, transforming moments from their past into vibrant works of art.

This wasn't just about painting; it was about storytelling, healing, and celebrating the rich tapestry of experiences that make each of us unique.

Watching everyone pour their heart and soul onto the canvas reminded us how art can bridge generations, spark joy, and bring us closer to our roots and to each other.

The day ended with laughter, shared stories, and a BBQ. It was a perfect reminder that connection and community nourish us just as much as creativity does.
