COVID 19 RISK MITIGATION PROTOCOLS
Please help me keep us all safe.
COVID 19 poses particular challenges for the Remedial Massage industry considering we are working in closed rooms where social distancing is impossible (unless you have very long arms).
Below is a list of measures I have in place to mitigate the risk of contracting COVID 19 and/or spreading it in my clinic.
I have always taken my responsibility to keep clients safe seriously so many of the procedures listed below were in place pre COVID 19.
I am particularly vigilant now as I have clients who are vulnerable themselves or have close family members who are.
RISK MITIGATION PROTOCOLS
1. All clients are asked to postpone/reschedule if:
a) They have any COVID symptoms or are feeling in any way
unwell
b) Have been to any Covid Exposure Sites
c) Have recently been in contact with anyone unwell, isolating
or recently arrived in WA
2. All clients must check in using the QR code
3. All clients must wear masks for the duration of their
appointment
4. All appointments are booked at least 30 minutes apart to
allow time for thorough cleaning and airing of the massage
room
5. All linen is one use only, soaked in antibacterial solution
before washing in hot water (60 degrees+) and line dried
6. All hard surfaces that in possible contact with clients are
disinfected
7. My hands are washed thoroughly immediately before
touching clients and at any point where I have possibly
contaminated by touching something else
Personally, I wear masks when required and often when not,
limit my social interactions and mostly shop by click and
collect and home delivery
I hope this list not only makes you feel safer but encourages you to assist me keep everyone safe.
