Hi there, I’m Sarah Elise, Doctor of Chinese Medicine, Menstrual
Health Coach, Energetic Birthworker and mother of 3. Ever since the conception of my first baby, my desire to learn more about birth has been never ending. Over these years, I have completed training as a Doula and Reiki Practitioner, as well as studied Hypnobirthing, Optimal Maternal Positioning and Birth Mapping. I am currently diving deep into the world of Intuitive birthwork which I cannot wait to share with you.

🌻 Wild Village Festival 🌻

It has been hard to find the words to summarise this incredible weekend. I didn’t have big expectations, my only intention was to show up & let the magic lead me!

From the 5:19am rooster wake up calls (after 7 hours of blissful uninterrupted sleep, the daily morning yoga, swapping my coffee for cacao ✨, fully booked days treating absolutely incredible, strong, vulnerable women, all of the delicious home-cooked lunches & dinners (with a different cuisine each meal!), to winding down in the evenings listening to inspiring & heartfelt music! It was seriously the best 💫

I made new friends, new clients and bumped into a few beautiful friends from the past too. I cannot thank you enough .craniosacraltherapy for inviting me along to join you on this adventure!! 💖

🌙 Setting Intentions 🌙
And aligning our energy with these desires ✨

I was clearing out my bedside drawer & look what I found! A journal entry I had made in 2019, a few months before my daughter was conceived.

Then the following winter of 2020, on the 1st August, I laboured by the fire & birthed her in water as I had visualised for so long 💖 The only difference was that she was born under a Capricorn (earth) moon rather than a water moon 😉

Setting intentions is a powerful practice, and is amplified at the new moon. But whatever we desire, we must also believe to be possible for us. It is not enough to simply make a wish. Feel it in your bones that you are worthy of these dreams. But also trust that the universe has heard your call rather than try to control the outcome 💫

When I heard the call out for contributing authors for ‘Birth New’, I just knew it was something my soul was leading me to do. Even though this was way out of my comfort zone and felt like a stretch financially, my gut was telling me it was a hell YES and I’ll be forever grateful that I listened, diving right in.

What I could never have imagined was how healing this process of getting thoughts on to paper would be & how instantly things would start manifesting in my life for the better. The universe is truly here to support us!

So I wrote my chapter in Nov/Dec 2021 & by Jan 2022 I was embarking on the biggest investment in myself that I’ve ever made, following my gut again & signing up to work with my incredible mentor Anita ✨

From here it’s truly hard to put into words how fast my life is shifting & changing. Whether it’s your dream birth, dream house, dream life etc, we are the ones that need to get out of our own way & stop holding ourselves back.

Your intuition will not lead you astray and when you finally start saying YES, so many new doors begin to open & new experiences will come your way. Never forget, your dreams are meant for you 💫

Would you believe me if I told you that you already have everything you need within you, to birth your baby into this world? Wherever & however you choose to birth. I mean, truly believe it?

This is the most important work of pregnancy. Unpacking any thoughts, old beliefs or fears that are holding you back from stepping in to your power & knowing that you are the expert of your body & baby. This is the deep inner work of pregnancy that only you can do. But I am here to guide you ✨

I’ll share with you one of the biggest hurdles I overcame when pregnant with my second son. Hiring a private midwife for the first time meant there were no rules now. All the decisions I needed to make for my pregnancy, birth and baby were only mine to make. It was actually really overwhelming.

Until I realised, I was struggling to make these decisions not because I was an indecisive person, as I’d always told myself I was. But because I was forever trying to be the ‘good girl’ and ‘people pleaser’. With every decision, I was focusing on what was the ‘right thing’ to do or what did everyone else want me to do?’ No wonder I was struggling!

Such a pivotal moment in my life when I discovered this about myself, and learnt to shift my focus from listening to all the noise around me, and instead learnt to tune in to where my intuition was guiding me 💫
