🐛🐜🐞 A Wild Adventure at Shining Kidz: Mini Beasts Incursion! 🦋🦗🌿

What an absolutely incredible time our children had during our Mini Beasts Incursion on Friday, July 11th! 🦎🕷️🐸 Their faces lit up with wonder as they had an up-close and personal encounter with a fascinating array of mini creatures.

From slithering lizards and hopping frogs to delicate stick insects, a cleverly disguised leaf insect, intriguing spiders, and even a unique burrowing cockroach from Queensland – there was so much to explore! For many of our little adventurers, it was their very first time seeing or even gently touching these tiny creatures, making the experience truly exciting and memorable.

We were so proud to see so many curious questions and brave little explorers embracing this special day! A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this immersive learning experience possible. ✨

Traditional vs Chinese Medicine
Prevention of Common Infectious Diseases During Winter

Recently, we have noticed quite a few children have been absent due to cold or flu. In some cases, we’ve had to send children home because they developed a fever during the day. It also appears that many people in our community have become unwell with colds or the flu as winter approaches. This highlights just how important it is to understand how to prevent and manage these common illnesses, especially at this time of year.

Join us for an informative session with Dr Su (Doctor of Public Health, Bachelor of Medicine) and Dr Erin Huang (Registered Chinese Medicine Doctor). They will discuss practical ways to prevent common infectious diseases in winter and how to effectively manage them.

We had an absolute blast at Shining Kidz Early Learning Centre on 28 March! 🦁 🎊

The children were all smiles as they enjoyed a vibrant and energetic Lion Dance—an incredible celebration of culture, creativity, and teamwork. 🏮 🥁

One of the day’s biggest highlights? The adorable photoshoot with the lions! Families came together to capture some truly unforgettable moments. 📸 🎉

Looking for fun and engaging activities these school holidays? From 14–24 April, our Vacation Care program is packed with adventures! 🐾 Explore Lollipops Playland and Scitech in Perth City on our excursions. 🐑 Get hands-on with adorable animals from Old McDonald’s Farm. ⚽ Enjoy soccer play activities, unleash creativity in our art studio, and whip up delicious treats in our cooking sessions.

We have also included immersive Chinese learning activities for each day.
