Sometimes the strongest decision is knowing when to pause.

RiseUp has always been about doing this work with care, integrity, and respect for the men who step into the room. That means honouring the space, the timing, and our own capacity to hold it properly.
While this workshop won’t be going ahead, the work itself hasn’t stopped. The conversations continue. The integration continues. And the community keeps moving forward.

We’re grateful for every man who trusts this space and walks the path with us.

We’ll be back on Sunday March 1st, grounded, present, and ready to hold what needs to be held.

As we round out 2025, today was truly a celebration of life.

We gathered in mourning for our brother Anthony Tran, whom we lost this month. Today was dedicated to him, honouring his life, celebrating his spirit, and carrying him forward with us.
RIP, brother 🕊

At the same time, we welcomed new life. Brother Luke welcomed his baby boy into the world.
Welcome, Jack. Your little legacy has already begun.

Today was a powerful reminder of life’s constant duality, endings and beginnings, and of just how important brotherhood, connection, and support truly are.

To the brave, strong, and courageous men who showed up and shared this space with us, today was something special, and we are incredibly proud of each and every one of you.

We continue to be humbled and honoured by the calibre of men who walk through our doors and choose to join this ever growing community of likeminded men.

As 2025 comes to a close, we are deeply grateful and excited for what the new year holds for RISE UP and the men who walk this path with us.

Our final RISE UP workshop of the year is here. Consider this your invitation to join us as we come together one last time for the 2025.

As the year starts to wind down, a lot shifts beneath the surface. Some men feel proud. Some feel exhausted. Some feel disconnected or unsure. And some just know they don’t want to carry the same patterns into a new year.

Most people don’t run events at this time of year but we believe this is exactly when men need spaces like this the most. This time of year has a way of highlighting what’s missing, not just what’s going well. When the noise gets louder, the pressure builds, and emotions sit closer to the surface… that’s when support, clarity and connection matter.

Wherever you stand, this workshop is a chance to pause, breathe, connect, and take stock of what’s really going on inside you. To be honest with yourself without judgement, without pressure, and without having to figure it all out alone.

RISE UP isn’t about being perfect or “fixed.”
It’s about learning to understand yourself, regulate your emotions, build resilience, and reconnect with the part of you that’s been buried under stress, responsibility, expectations and potentially survival mode.

If you’re ready to step into the new year clearer, lighter, and more aligned… this is your moment.

What a day! What a group of men!
Time and time again the same thing comes up for us... THIS IS POWERFUL and SO SPECIAL!
The energy in the space, the openess, the support, the growth and the bonds built within the walls of Riseup fills our hearts.
Men taking the action and making the change.

To the men who showed up today we are so proud.
To the brothers in our community we are so proud and to the brothers looking in and wanting to be apart of this all you have to do is take that step, get through those doors and the change, the shift and the growth you are after is on the other side.
You've got this and we've got you!

There’s a moment when everything softens. When the walls fall, the armour drops, and what’s real begins to rise. When men stop running from what hurts and meet themselves fully.
Today we witnessed that again. The courage to feel. The strength to be seen. The power of men standing shoulder to shoulder, breathing, releasing, remembering.
This is not about perfection. It’s about presence and honesty. Meeting you where you are at.
It’s about returning to what’s true and learning to lead from the heart.
This is the work. This is brotherhood.
This is RiseUp.
It’s an honour and a privilege to walk beside these men and witness what unfolds in this space.

Just a few words that come to mind when we witness what happens in RiseUp.

To the men who stepped through the door — thank you.
For showing up when it would have been easier not to.
For leaning in when it felt uncomfortable.
For being willing to be seen, heard, and supported.

Every one of these are different, but the impact is the same.
Men walking out lighter, clearer, and more connected to themselves and to each other.

This is what happens when men drop the armour and do the work.
This is RiseUp.

Today hit different. Men from all walks of life.
Some returning for more. Some stepping in for the very first time. All choosing to show up FULLY!

They cracked open.
They got honest.
They breathed deep and faced what needed to be faced.
Not alone, but shoulder to shoulder.

This is what happens when men come together without the ego, the masks, or the noise. Just real conversation, real release, real connection.

This weekend we gathered again —
New brothers joined us.
Familiar faces returned.
And together, we marked a powerful milestone in this movement.

Fitting that it lands in Men’s Mental Health Month, during Men’s Health Week —
A reminder of how needed this work is.
Not just awareness , but action.
Not just for us, but for the men around us, and the generations to come.

This is what healing looks like. This is what brotherhood feels like.
