We are still buzzing from the amazing sense of community and connection at last month's Child Therapy Summit. It was really wonderful seeing attendees gathering at the CliniKids/Inklings Program info stall to find out about various services for children and families.
The Inklings Program team attended the inaugural Child Therapy Summit in the beautiful Swan Valley, Western Australia- an event for allied health professionals dedicated to supporting children and families.
It was a fantastic opportunity to with in the sector, share insights about Inklings, the referral process, and learn from others doing impactful work.
A highlight of the morning was a keynote address by The Kids Research Institute Australia Deputy Director, Professor Andrew Whitehouse.
His talk, ‘Head, Heart and Hands’, explored the importance of evidence-based practice, the ‘why’ behind our work, and how to bring research to life in real-world settings.
Congratulations to the Child Therapy Summit team on a successful event.
