Are Employee Assistance Programs confidential?

This is one of the most common questions we hear from employees and HR teams.
Yes — EAP sessions are confidential.

Employers receive de-identified usage reports only (never names, notes, or session content). That confidentiality is what helps people feel safe to reach out early.

We’ve updated our article outlining 8 ways EAPs support employees (and why they’re so valuable for workplaces in Perth and WA).

Instead, it can bring anxiety, exhaustion, self-doubt, or a sense of overwhelm that catches you off guard.

If returning to work after leave, illness, burnout, or stress feels harder than you expected, you’re not alone. This article explores why that happens — and how counselling can help you adjust with more confidence and support.

Meet Marnie – Practice Assistant 🌼

Marnie is a valued member of our admin team who brings both organisation and genuine care to her role. She loves creating smooth schedules and keeping everything running neatly behind the scenes — but most of all, she cares deeply about helping clients feel comfortable and confident when they reach out for support.

Marnie often speaks with clients who aren’t sure what to expect from counselling, and her goal is for every call to end with reassurance and trust.

Outside of work, you’ll find her in the garden, with her chooks, or crocheting.
