This afternoon respite care activities with the boys included ice cream first for doing all there chores and then Getting $10 each to buy an activity they both decided on this bluey activities set for $20. They were both very excited to open it straight away and get started on there activities. Both boys generously gifted a friend who’s is a young girl a few items from the set who loves bluey just as much. Xx well done boys

So I’ve spent the day with an anonymous client today !! We went shopping, I cooked her meals, attended to her ADLs. With dragonfly nursing and care giving services include respite caring which includes community access. Not for just disabilities but also aged care.

Today is Tuesday with this respite care client means it’s the day for Meals prep, education and cooking education!! With Dragonflys respite care. Today we meal prepped spaghetti for Camy and meatballs for Logan by our EXPERIENCED cook. Xx

We also had community access earlier in the day, took the boys for annual hair cuts, ice cream as they had their hair cuts without any issues and finished off with home economics.

We offer inhome care contract work such as catheters both IMC & IDC, insulin and oral medication administration and much more. Plus we offer care giving services Including respite care in all ages in disability and aged care ranging from hrs to days including overnights as an option also including international and domestic respite holidays.

Plus NEW services include meals prep and cooking classes with an experienced cook.

Today I had the pleasure of taking a handsome autistic boy to the wiggles as respite care for dad. We spent time having lunch and wiggles concert.

Meet Rianne!

Rianne is a IV compedent Enrolled Nurse (EN) has had her qualification since MAY 30th 2018. Qualified from North Metropolitan MT Lawley TAFE. Rianne then In June 2018 started her career at MIdland St John Of God Hospital as a graduate EN. I’m medical and Stroke she was place in the post graduated program then getting assigned permanently to an extremely busy medical ward in SJOG. Post graduation year. Where she flowrished and was awarded care give for the month award for her stand up attitudes, caring for all patient but expressly the palliative care patients she later became a dementia care champion for her ward, due to personal reason Rianne took a break from nursing and became an living nanny for a family with two boy with autism and one with intellectual disability. Working with the boys to focus on improving there day to day life experiences

Rianne later joined forces with agency work with hospitals and aged care homes but currently focused on contract work with company’s that’s provide care with catheter and insulin administration in home or school.

Drangonflys don’t only care while I’m Australia we also offer care while international travelling! Assisting with all aspect of travel. This week Nurse Rianne went off to Bali to care for 2 Autistic boys. Which Rianne found very rewarding and pleasure. Rianne is the founding nurse of Drangonflys Nursing and Care Giving services.
