Epiroc T45 drill component servicing and overhauls - now available off-site at our Mackay facility in Queensland.

Our QLD team is now servicing clients with off-site mechanical repairs out of Mackay, and the first jobs are already out the door. We recently completed a run of servicing and overhauls on Epiroc T45 drill components, including the COP EX3060 Drifter - stripped, inspected, overhauled, expertly executed, painted and ready for transport.

For Mackay-based mining clients, that means component overhauls handled closer to site, less downtime, and the quality standard AWE is known for. That's AWE Built.

Got Epiroc drill components due for an overhaul? Talk to our Mackay team.

Did you know? In Victoria, only a Registered Electrical Contractor can legally contract and certify electrical work and that registration sits behind everything our VIC division does.

A local Victorian team, with national depth behind it and work that's compliant and certifiable, every time.

Thirteen years ago on the 1st of April, no less, Allister Murray stepped off a plane in Perth with a Scottish accent and a fair tolerance for a cold pint.

Last month, he made it official. Allister is now an Australian Citizen! 🇦🇺🎉

Allister grew up in Carnwath, a small village near Lanark in Scotland, and landed in WA back in 2013. These days he's our Beyond Shuts Supervisor - running shutdown work that doesn't forgive shortcuts or weak crews.

His favourite things about Australia? The weather (fair enough), and watching two of his boys run out for the Ellenbrook Rabbits 🏉

And the similarities he's found between Scots and Aussies? "Drinking beers." 🍻
Said with a perfectly straight face.

Congratulations Allister. You have always been a fellow Aussie to us, now it's just offical! You've earned it and we are so happy to have you on the team!

3 problems every mining customer feels.
3 ways AWE solves them.

3D Laser Scanning - when the drawings don't exist, but the new part still has to fit. Site scan to certified design, all under one roof.

End-to-End Fixed Plant - one workshop, one team, from concept to commissioned. Hoppers, chutes, walkways and frames.

Refurbish. Fabricate. Perform - refurbished isn't a downgrade. It's an upgrade. Buckets, Trays, mobile assets - better than new.

3 problems. 1 trusted partner. Built to go beyond.

Black on the body. Orange on the teeth. Linerless on the inside.

The AWE SPARTAN Linerless Bucket - engineered and built in-house for high-stress mining operations.

The Linerless design strips out the internal liner most buckets carry, which means less weight, more usable volume, fewer parts to maintain.

Australia doesn't have a skills shortage. We have a courage shortage.

There's no shortage of people willing to work in mining, energy, fabrication or the trades. There's a shortage of businesses prepared to invest in building them.

Too many organisations complain about "talent gaps" while refusing to fund apprentices properly, mentor junior trades, or tolerate the time it takes to develop real capability.

Skilled trades aren't ordered off a shelf. They're built slowly, deliberately, expensively.

At AWE, we hire people. Not polished CVs. Some of our strongest tradespeople didn't arrive with perfect resumes, they arrived with work ethic. They stayed because we backed them.

Workshop culture beats boardroom theory every time.

The companies that will lead Australia's industrial future won't be the ones chasing talent. They'll be the ones building it.

Today, we celebrate the women who hold everything together behind the scenes.

To all the AWE mums, wives, partners, grandmothers and mother figures - thank you.

Thank you for the early mornings, the late nights, the missed birthdays, the solo school runs, the strength, patience and sacrifice that often go unseen. In the blue-collar world, time away from home is part of the job… but so is the unwavering support waiting back home.

You are the backbone of this industry.

While our crews are out on site, in the workshop, on the road and away providing for their families, it’s the mums at home carrying the load, keeping families grounded and hearts connected.

Today is for you.

From all of us at AWE - Happy Mother’s Day to the strong women who inspire us every day. Your resilience, love and support never go unnoticed.

Proud to see our AWE Victorian team delivering high-quality work where it matters most.

Jared, one of our long-term team members, is currently on site with a valued client replacing a SEW drive — a task that calls for precision, technical skill and a strong understanding of operational requirements.

At AWE, our strength has always been our people. Their experience, reliability and commitment to quality are what make successful outcomes possible.

Great work, Jared, and thank you for continuing to represent AWE with professionalism and pride.

Strong leadership isn’t just about growth it’s about protecting and building what matters most.

This week, AWE CEO Sandra Harris met with Dr Anne Aly MP to discuss the future of Australia’s workforce, local manufacturing and the importance of strengthening industry capability from the ground up.

At AWE, we see this every day - on workshop floors, in regional communities and out on site. A sustainable future isn’t built by importing solutions. It’s built by investing in people, skills and long-term capability here in Australia.

Key areas of focus included:

• Developing a stronger, skilled blue-collar workforce through targeted training and upskilling
• Supporting Indigenous engagement and creating long-term career pathways
• Backing Australian businesses that actively invest in local capability and regional growth

When we invest in local industry, we do more than create jobs - we build resilience, strengthen communities and create a pipeline for the next generation of skilled workers.

Conversations like this matter because they help ensure the voices of industry are shaping real, practical outcomes.

There is a clear opportunity to better align government priorities with industry delivery and AWE is ready to be part of that.

What does strong leadership look like in your industry right now?
