Companion Card WA

Companion Card WA The WA Companion Card program assists in promoting the existing right of people with disability to receive fair ticketing for access to venues and events.

The WA Companion Card program has been developed to promote the existing right of people with disability to receive fair ticketing for access to venues and events. The Companion Card is a card issued to people with a significant and permanent disability who require attendant care support from a companion to participate at most venues and activities. Cardholders present their card when booking or purchasing a ticket from a participating business. Participating businesses who recognise the Companion Card will issue the cardholder with a second ticket for their companion at no charge. The program was launched in April 2006. The Companion Card Program in WA is managed by National Disability Services (NDS WA) and is supported by the State Government of Western Australia through the Disability Services Commission and Lotterywest. If you have a query, would like to renew your Companion Card or want to update your information, please contact the WA Companion Card team on 1800 617 337 (TTY 08 9443 3107) or wacompanioncard@nds.org.au

If your business or organisation would like to become an affiliate, please contact the WA Companion Card team on 1800 617 337 or wacompanioncard@nds.org.au
