Great session with the President of the Australian ChiropracTIC College, giving out info for prospective Doctors of Chiropractic!

No pressure on the kids - just good to understand options!
The first year is predominantly online delivery with 4x week long blocks in Adelaide
The remainder of the five year program is in Adelaide
Easy transition for existing students of other programs and flexible entry for mature age students.
Completion rates are currently at 92% - this is compared to university based programs that are sitting around 35% - all too many enrol, have their dreams crushed (after failing an exam that tests on photosynthesis, lactose metabolism, dog 🐕 anatomy or the Krebs cycle 🙄), with only a HECS debt to show for it 😫💸⛓️
I was very impressed by the logic of the teaching schedule where the curriculum is designed with maximum crossover and relevance... For example, whilst learnt about hands on palpation skills for the upper cervical spine, students will also learn anatomy, radiology, neurology, pathology of the same region. This makes so much more sense than stretching it out with units that are often separated by a few years. Prior knowledge is assumed but often you wouldn't understand the relevance of certain knowledge until you get to implement it clinically.
The program is designed, founded, funded by successful chiropractors, with the goal of producing the best adjusters on the planet, with PURPOSE!
