Are you over 65 like Gia?
People aged 65 and over in Australia are strongly recommended to get an annual, free flu vaccine.
These vaccines are available via the National Immunisation Program (NIP) to reduce severe disease, hospitalisation, and mortality.
The best time to be vaccinated is recommended from March/April, to ensure protection before the peak season begins.
The vaccine is free under the NIP for everyone aged 65 and over. Flu vaccines can be safely given at the same time as the COVID-19, RSV, or shingles vaccines.
Vaccinating Monday to Saturday. Bookings preferred. Book inshore or online at amcal.com.au/booking.
