WADSA are excited to be supporting Baseball WA with the expansion of their Challenger Baseball Division.
Challenger Baseball is for people with neurological, physical, and/or intellectual disabilities. The program aims to provide an opportunity for people with disabilities to enjoy the benefits of baseball and participation in a team sport, in an environment structured to their abilities. Challenger Division has successfully been running for several years for children aged 4-18. And now, Baseball WA are looking to expand to a Senior Division, open to participants 18+.
A FREE come and try will be held on Thursday 24th July for anyone interested in trying baseball in a supported and fun environment.

All abilities, 18+

Tennis West are excited to offer an Adaptive Doubles competition and a Wheelchair and Para Standing Come & Try session with experienced Wheelchair and Para Standing coaches - Dwayne Augustin (WA Top Spinners, Manning Tennis Club) and Marita Morgan (City Community Tennis, Surrey Hills).

This event is in conjunction with the Inaugural State Hardcourt Wheelchair and Para Standing event at the State Tennis Centre.

- Wheelchair and Para Standing Come & Try session
Followed by:
11am-11.30am - Morning Tea

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and supported the Inclusive Sports Symposium on June 12th.

With the support of the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries, this event brought together passionate individuals from SSAs, sporting clubs, recreation groups, and education — all united by one goal: making sport and recreation more inclusive for people with a disability.

The 5- week pilot program, running on Thursday afternoons from 26th June will introduce you to the super fun, super accessible game of Boccia, develop your skills and give you the opportunity to meet new people.
