Volunteers Wanted – Swimming State Championships 🏅

We're gearing up for an incredible weekend at our Swimming State Championships, and we’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our team!

Whether you’re a seasoned swim fan, a student looking for experience, or just someone who wants to make a difference in the disability community, we’d love to have you!

📅 Event Date: Saturday 23rd August
📍 Location: Perth High Performance Centre (formally HBF stadium) 100 Stephenson Ave, Mt Claremont
⏰ Time: 12pm-6pm

No experience needed – just a great attitude and a willingness to help!

Ability Hoops is a beginner basketball program designed by Basketball Australia for young children with Autism and intellectual disabilities.

Our good friends at Carson Street School have entered a short film into the Focus on Ability Film Festival!

This festival asks film makers to 'Focus on the Ability' of people with a disability and tell a story on film for the world to view.
Films are judged by a professional judging panel and subject to an online voting process, with separate prizes for each category.

Their Victory With Vision Video can be watched by following the link below, and if you look closely, you'll see some of WADSA's modified activities and adaptive equipment, on loan to Carson Street through our Telethon Ready Set Rec Program.
