Have you gained a few kilos already this winter?
Do you want to start losing weight ready for bikini season?
Then Swan Bassendean Community Weight Loss Group is the place for you.
Meetings are held every Tuesday night. Weigh in from 5.30 with the meeting starting at 6.30. We are located at the RSL Hall Kenny St Bassendean.
We welcome new and past members, male and female to join our friendly, supportive group of like minded people.
We offer many incentives and rewards along your journey to a healthy lifestyle.
We do not offer meals, meal plans, shakes, bars and we are not online. We are a not for profit support group, here to help you on your own journey.
Fees are $5 a night with a one off joining fee of $20 (you will receive a gift bag to help you on your way) plus $5 a year registration.
Your first night is free. So come along and check us out. YOU ARE ALWAYS WELCOME!!

Let's attempt to walk 10,000 Steps a day. If you can't that's OK. Do little walks. Maybe aim to walk to the letterbox, the house next door, the end of your street, walk around your kitchen table it doesn't matter JUST MOVE!!!!!

This week we are celebrating Xmas in July. Remember there will be no meeting but we will meet at 7th Avenue Tavern in Midland at 6.30pm for a social evening while enjoying good food.

We emptied the Marble Jar a loss of over 30 kgs as a group. Meeting at DOME next week coffee paid by the club. Well done everyone.

Congratulations Kerrie Brough for losing 10kg during the 2013 year. Kerrie was our nominee for the Slimmer of the Year for 2013. Even though she didnt win, we are so very very proud of her achievement.

Congratulations Mel Robinson, our Director of Aboriginal Health at the Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS), on winning the prestigious Australian College of Nursing Bullwinkel Study Travel Scholarship.

Mel's scholarship acknowledges her exceptional contributions to healthcare, particularly in advocating for Aboriginal health.

Valued at up to $10,000, the Bullwinkel Scholarship honours the legacy of Lieutenant Colonel Vivian Bullwinkel and her fellow nurses who showed remarkable bravery during World War II.

Mel is pictured with John Bullwinkel, great nephew of Vivian Bullwinkel.
