Congratulations & Thank You to Tamika!

We're pleased to announce that she will be embarking on a new adventure, transferring to Dovida Mandurah Office. Tamika provided part-time support within our Scheduling team in office, and was a huge asset to the team during the Support at Home changes.

It has been a wonderful period with Tamika being apart of our Circle of Care at Dovida Perth North East office and sad to see her depart. However, this will not be goodbye from us at Perth North East but more so see you soon, at the next annual WA Dovida Awards Night!

We wish Tamika all the best for her new journey in her professional carer and we know she will continue to provide extra support of care coordination of caregiver services for Dovida clients in the future. ❤

Dovida Perth North East Caregiver Meetings!🤝

With so many recent changes across Support at Home services, ongoing clinical education and informing our Caregiver's on these changes has never been more important. Supporting our Circle of Care that includes our Caregiver's with the knowledge and confidence they need to deliver safe, high-quality care.

Fun fact: Team bonding activities create shared experiences that build familiarity and trust. When employees solve challenges together or share informal moments, they understand each other’s strengths and thought processes. That clarity reduces hesitation and builds confidence during real projects. Such as our moments at the recent Caregiver meeting; we had broken up into groups to build the highest tower out of A4 paper. The team who had the longest standing structure, had successfully passed the challenge.

2026 Craft Project - Memory Journal; for one of our many Arts & Craft Workshops. This year our clients are personalising there own scrapbooks reflecting on the past and present on what to pass onto the next generation. A meaningful sentimental gift!

It is open to all levels of skill and dexterity. Journals serve as a way to preserve memories, strengthen mental health, and create legacy for future generations.

Client Event engagement, this experience was highly beneficial for both the clients and caregiver's, allowing them to engage with one another and learn valuable lessons about empathy, kindness, and social interactions. All whilst, creating ideas to decorate their Memory Journal that their hearts desired.

Community Crafted Circle is back with Dovida Perth North East! 🎨🖌

To start off 2026 in March for one of our many Arts & Craft Workshops ahead - Welcoming our Memory Journal Project.

It is open to all levels of skill and dexterity. Journals serve as a way to preserve memories, strengthen mental health, and create legacy for future generations.

Client Event engagement, this experience was highly beneficial for both the clients and caregiver's, allowing them to engage with one another and learn valuable lessons about empathy, kindness, and social interactions. All whilst, creating ideas to decorate their Memory Journal that their hearts desired. Reflecting on the past and present on what to pass onto the next generation.

Many people attending our Dovida Perth North East workshops and social gatherings say that the opportunity to meet and talk to others who are in a similar situation as themselves with regards to their health or similar life experiences has been extremely beneficial.
