At SOS Therapy and Learning Centre we recognise that each client has an individual learning style, which needs to be respected. Children learn best when they are in a positive environment that is fun, nurturing, safe and allows them to maintain a calm and alert level of arousal in order to learn. We are a child and family centred practice, and believe in supporting parents with information, resour
ces, advice and techniques to enable them to assist and encourage their child’s development at home. Our mission is to identify and support each client’s individual learning style, to foster a lifelong love of learning. We don’t expect children to fit into a particular pattern of learning, rather we provide the flexibility to bend to meet the individual needs of the child. We provide assessment and intervention for both children and adults with speech, language and literacy difficulties, including:
