A big shout out to our hard work team at the Tallawarra power station. For the last 12 months UEA has worked tirelessly to get this project over the line, working closely with GE and Clough. Assembling and commissioning the 430MVA transformer, building and commissioning the 132kV switchyard, installing and assembling the Bus Duct and everything inbeteeen. Our team consisted of Superintendents, Supervisors, mechanical, E&I, HV techs and engineers. With energisation approaching, this project is entering an exciting stage.

NEW TEST EQUIPMENT ALERT!!! Our Baur Viola TD/PD test unit.

Capable of VLF, TD, PD, cable fault location and sheath integrity testing. The Baur unit is a very impressive peice of equipment with highly technical reports produced. With upskill training programs in the pipeline for our technicians, adding to our current expert engineering team. UEA can offer a full range or services including online and offline monitoring with trending and monitoring packages to suit.

Another exciting job completed by Universal Energy. We performed partial discharge, tan delta and sheath integrity testing on the Roy Hill Mine 33 kV feed from the Alinta Power station.
