ARE YOU OUR NEXT THERAPIST - APPLICATION PERIOD OPEN
Looking for a supportive place to grow your hand therapy career?
Wanting to focus on work enjoyment and client care rather than KPI’s and billables?
Love working autonomously while still being part of a collaborative team?
At InHand, we understand that therapists continue to develop their skills throughout their careers. Having had incredible mentors and supervisors ourselves, we know the value of timely access to senior
therapists. That’s why we focus on just two practices in Claremont and Midland, with open-plan treatment areas to encourage collaboration, clinical support, and knowledge-sharing for complex cases.
Why make the move to inHand?
Leadership & Mentorship
🙌As a therapist-owned practice, our principal therapists and clinical managers maintain significant caseloads, ensuring they share their expertise with clients and colleagues alike.
🙌Our team thrives on learning and growth, with built-in mentorship and support from experienced clinicians.
🙌Our senior heavy team has a diverse range of subspecialties and can support upskilling in a particular area of interest.
Team & Environment
🙌Environment – our clinics are inviting and creative environments that will push you to grow and develop, while also providing the care and support you need. Our team is focused and motivated, but we also value having fun along the way.
🙌Work Family – you’ll arrive to a supportive team of therapists and front desk staff who are ready to welcome you and help you settle into the team. We are a small, caring, friendly team, and a place where you will be valued.
Renumeration & Benefits
🙌We value your skills and experience so we will make sure you’re rewarded with renumeration that aligns with HSUWA/Hospital rates for experienced therapists.
🙌Negotiable work schedule: we are happy to consider full time and part-time applications and understand the demands of balancing family and work. We have staff who work full time over 4 days for a weekly RDO; and others who work an early or late shift to facilitate family commitments.
🙌Annual external CPD allowance, plus regular internal education meetings and mentoring to support clinical skill development.
🙌Supportive administration team to ensure you can focus on clinical care.
🙌Leave availability and a TOIL policy for when personal events conflict with your roster.
Who We’re Looking For:
👌A hand and upper limb clinician (occupational therapist or physiotherapist) who can work manage an independent caseload but still enjoys bouncing ideas off colleagues and thrives in a
team environment.
👌A love of splinting and ability to translate this into fabricating quality orthoses.
👌A good clinical reasoner who enjoys combining theoretical knowledge, assessment and experience to create individual client programmes rather than relying on adhering to protocols. Our team thrives on complex problem solving and is happy to support anyone who is developing skills in this.
👌Someone who values the importance of communication and has good social skills. A nurturer who supports the whole team’s success, brings positivity to the team and can build easy rapport with a diverse client group.
Does this resonate with you?
