Welcoming in the Fire Horse year with intention.

Tonight we had options. Gym. Work. The endless to do list.

Instead, we chose the table.

Three generations deep.
A Merit worth celebrating.
Red for courage.
Presence over pressure.

Because this season isn’t random.

It’s expansion.
Expansion of vision.
Expansion of business.
Expansion of who I’m becoming.

It’s refinement.
Refining character.
Refining discipline.
Refining what truly matters.

And it’s transition.
From executor to leader.
From worker to space holder.
From building quietly to stepping forward boldly.

Preparation doesn’t look glamorous.
It looks like stewarding what’s in your hands while building what’s on your heart.

If you’re in a stretching season too, remember:

Expansion requires refinement.
Leadership requires preparation.
Transition requires faith.

We move when God says move.

Legacy over ego.
Purpose over pressure.
Faith over fear.

“The Lord will bless you and keep you…”
Numbers 6:24–26

Refined. Expanding. Becoming.

By this season of life, success looks different.

It’s not what you own.
It’s how your body carries you through your days.

Strength you’ve built.
Energy you can rely on.
Health that supports the life you’re called to live.

No shortcuts.
No outsourcing.
Just stewardship, over time.

43. Still training. Just recalibrated. With more self love and wisdom than ever.

Between perimenopause, adenomyosis, and new findings on my latest MRI, this season has been a reminder that the body is always evolving. Especially when you’re a woman in your 40s.

The scan showed arthritis through my lower spine, disc degeneration with a small disc bulge, and mild instability at L3–L4. Nothing dramatic, but enough to remind me that smart training and recovery matter.

If you’re navigating endometriosis or adenomyosis, perimenopause, disc bulges, arthritis, or a back that just isn’t what it used to be, you’re not alone.

Here’s the part I really want women to hear 👇
Strength training is the reason I’m still strong and functional.

My first lumbar MRI in April 2020 showed a very different picture. I was weak, frail, and some days I could barely walk without pain.
Fast forward to now. Yes, there’s progression. But I feel stronger, more stable, and more capable.

I genuinely believe it would be far worse if I hadn’t kept strength training.

My back specialist and physio have always said the same thing.
Keep training. Just be smarter.

That now means no HIIT, no Hyrox, no axial loading, no free weights. Machines only. And I’m okay with that.

Because we’re adaptive athletes.
We recalibrate when the data changes.
But we don’t stop.

Today’s session was glutes and hamstrings. Spine smart. Muscle focused. No ego lifts.

Hip thrusts
Angled leg press
Hamstring curls
Anti rotation core work

Big rocks first. Clean isolations.

This season is about stewardship.
My body is a God given gift. A temple.
And self love now looks like listening, recovering, and training with wisdom.

If your body feels different lately, you’re not failing. You’re evolving.

Still lifting.
Still progressing.
Just doing it in a way that honours the body and the long game 🤍

“Therefore honour God with your bodies.”
1 Corinthians 6:20

Cambodia holds a very special place in my heart.

I’ll be back soon spending time reconnecting, listening, and quietly building what’s next.

I’m open to values-led partnerships across hospitality, wellness, culture, and conscious travel that honour story, place, and integrity.

I’m especially keen to meet Cambodian artisans and makers, storytellers or videographers, and community-based organisations doing meaningful work on the ground.

If someone comes to mind, feel free to tag them 🤍

I’ll be spending time in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap.

As 2025 comes to a close, I’m reflecting on a year that held both deep turmoil and big wins. And honestly, that’s life.

This year cracked me wide open more than once. Letting go stopped being a one-off decision and became a practice. Choosing alignment over comfort. Peace over chaos. Truth over familiarity.

In February, a chapter that began back in 2016 finally closed. Nearly nine years navigating separation and financial abuse came to an end. Holding the keys to two properties I fought hard to reclaim wasn’t about winning. It was about justice and finally being able to exhale.

There were wins worth celebrating. Rebuilding what was almost lost. Growing steady foundations here at home while opening and remotely directing a business in Cambodia. Being featured in Incubator Magazine. Becoming a four-time bestselling co-author. Quiet progress that didn’t always look loud, but mattered deeply.

But the biggest growth happened beneath the surface.

Cambodia cracked me wide open three times. Each visit stripped something back and realigned me. Being part of the diaspora has been heavy this year. Loving from afar. Feeling deeply. Carrying both gratitude and responsibility for the motherland. Now that so many moving parts have settled, I can fully align with my ikigai and what I’m being called to build next.

Walking with God sharpened my discernment. I learned that love should never come wrapped in control, jealousy, or disrespect. That I can’t fix people who aren’t choosing to heal. And that choosing peace is never the wrong decision.

I’m not rich in the way the world “defines” it, but I am rich in peace, faith, clarity, freedom, and self-respect. And that kind of wealth changes everything.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.”
Proverbs 3:5–6

Here’s to growth, healing, and honouring our wins.
And to stepping into the next season lighter, clearer, and deeply aligned. 🙏
