A patient presented after sleeping in her contact lenses with severe eye pain, blurred vision, and contact lens intolerance. Examination showed right eye conjunctival injection and an inferior-temporal corneal ulcer with an epithelial defect on fluorescein staining, along with corneal oedema. Management included immediate cessation of contact lens wear, initiation of frequent broad-spectrum topical antibiotics, and appropriate pain relief under clinical guidance.
