This patient presented with LE localised conjunctival redness at the site of previous pterygium surgery, with a history of excision many years prior. Examination was consistent with an inflamed recurrent pterygium, showing mild vascularised regrowth on the nasal conjunctiva. Management included a short course of topical corticosteroid therapy (1 drop four times daily) to reduce inflammation, with advice for ongoing maintenance using UV-blocking sunglasses and regular lubricating eye drops for comfort and ocular surface support.

A patient presented after sleeping in her contact lenses with severe eye pain, blurred vision, and contact lens intolerance. Examination showed right eye conjunctival injection and an inferior-temporal corneal ulcer with an epithelial defect on fluorescein staining, along with corneal oedema. Management included immediate cessation of contact lens wear, initiation of frequent broad-spectrum topical antibiotics, and appropriate pain relief under clinical guidance.
