What does Sādhanā mean to me? 🧡

Sādhanā is the regular space I create for myself where I can just be. Where I feel soothed and supported. It helps me to find harmony amongst the noise.

Sādhanā is important and a choice. Life can be full, overstimulating and overwhelming, and practice grounds me when things feel unsettled. My practice helps me to be with the big uncomfortable feelings that may bubble up, helping me move through them and not become stuck.

Practice comes in many different forms of movement and breath. Chanting/humming is calming. I seek variety but also need the steadiness of a moving meditation like Ashtanga as a framework to settle into when I feel flighty.

Sādhanā is where I journey deep into my being, like being immersed in a silky body of water that feels like home.

This is a rare opportunity to practice with world-renowned handstand teacher Paul Twyman. 🤸

He doesn’t run public classes often, so don’t miss out.

We know going upside down can feel scary, that’s why there will be plenty of options, and all levels are welcome.

In-person on Saturdays 11:30 am - 12:45 pm
✨ May 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th

Online on Tuesdays 6 - 6:45 pm
✨ May 12th, 19th, 26th

Join us this May for our Yoga Challenge + explore Handstands with Paul. 🧡

10/04/2026

We will meet you where you are.

You don’t need to have:
🧠 Memorised the full sequence
🤸 Be super “bendy” and “advanced”
🪷 Know the Sanskrit names or opening chant

Everyone is at different places in their practice, and it is constantly adapting with life.

In the Mysore Room, no one is watching you practice, apart from our teachers who are here to help you. 🧡

We have cheat sheets to help you learn the sequence and many props to support your practice.

AND if you are new to Mysore Style, join our 2-week Intro Course. 🧘

You’ll be in a small group setting with a dedicated practitioner who can answer all your questions and welcome you to the world of Mysore.

Starts Jun 1 - 11, 6 - 7:15 AM
✨ Mon, Wed, Thu

What does Sādhanā mean to me? 🧡

My Sādhanā has changed a lot over time. Once upon a time, Sādhanā meant ‘doing something’, trying to change myself, improve myself. Become more calm, more aware, more enlightened...

Now it’s almost the opposite. If I had to put it in words, I could say my practice is just to be as I am. To love what is. To rest in being, as being. And to be curious and notice when thoughts create apparent separation between ‘myself’ and ‘what is’.

To see clearly how there is only a problem when the mind creates one. To let go of that resistance, and return and surrender to truth, being, suchness, god (or whatever word you like to use 😊).

Why is Sādhanā important? ✨

Because it’s everything! It’s the point of this life to be happy and free and in love with it all. Because otherwise there is suffering.

Thinking of trying yoga during pregnancy? 🤰

It is the perfect time to connect with yourself, your body, and like-minded people.

Here are Hayley’s reflections from our recent course:

“I have loved Dimi’s pregnancy classes over the last 5 weeks, they are so nurturing, a beautiful way to connect with my body and my little one. The classes have been accessible with a bit of challenge if I feel like it but also perfect for the low energy days. I am looking forward to the next ones ☺️”

Our next 6-week Pregnancy Yoga course starts on Sun, May 3 at 10:30 am.

How has my Sādhanā changed over time? ✨

Like the changing seasons, my practice has evolved too. Relationships, career, recreational endeavours and living situations all have impacted how I show up.

The key for me now is to not compare to those old selves. Meet myself in the present, with a healthy dose of compassion, kindness and honesty.

Observing my commitments without harsh judgements and tailoring my physical practice to suit my mind and body where it’s at in the radical acceptance of the present. 🧡

Meditating or moving more mindfully over intensive repetitive ashtanga practice or getting a run, swim or ride in when the need arises.

Balance and kindness always being key in Sādhanā journey.

Have you been exploring an Ashtanga practice? 🧘

This is your opportunity to try Ashtanga Mysore Style. The way it is traditionally practised.

What does that mean? 💭
You get to practice at your own pace and try to memorise the sequence while the teacher moves around the room offering individual support to each student.

Everyone is at different stages of their practice and you’ll have the opportunity to focus on what you’re working on.

No expectations. No time restrictions.
Your mat. Your practice. 🙏

This course is a small group of six people, guided by Elena Pinto, a dedicated Ashtanga practitioner with 20 years of experience.

Mon / Wed / Thu for 2 weeks
6:00 - 7:15 am

When do you take care of yourself? 🥰
Are you stressed or anxious?

We get it. Our teachers are dedicated yogis, but they also have jobs and people they need to care for.

It’s okay if you can’t make it to our West Perth studio everyday. 🏡

You can find a balance between life, work, family, by also trying our live stream online classes.

😑 It might sound dull but Zoom yoga is better than no yoga.

Because yoga works on dose, you need to be consistent to reduce stress and feel good in your body. That is why we have made it possible to practice regularly. Whether that is 5 minutes or 50 mins.

Come in person, or get to know our online options!
