It was September 2019 when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. On the first day of chemotherapy, which was the 20th, these beautiful baby lorikeets were born. It was a sign that I was not alone. lorikeets are seen as messengers—symbols of hope, resilience, or divine support. These babies gave me strength, hope, and a purpose while undergoing chemotherapy. We all healed and grew together. When they were strong enough, I let them go free. They always come back, and the connection is beautiful. I beat cancer in 2023, and I believe the birds helped me heal 💞 🌟💫🌿🦜💕🌸🎉

Please meet my Mikki 14yr, an Australian rainbow lorikeet. She came to me in 2011 when I was working at the Fremantle King Square markets.
