📣5 acts of kindness that can have a lasting impact (FOR FREE):

1️⃣ Check in on someone who might be isolated — a regular message or chat can reduce loneliness long-term.
2️⃣ Offer your skills or time — help a neighbour with some gardening or a home DIY project.
3️⃣ Show someone you truly appreciate them - write a thank-you note for someone or leave a kind review for a small business you love.
4️⃣ Pick up litter in your local area — a cleaner space boosts pride, wellbeing, and community care - get the kids involved!
5️⃣ Hold the door for someone or let a person go ahead of you in a queue.

Small actions. Big impact. 💛

Feel Good Feb 💛

What is one of the most simple ways to boost your own mental health? Doing good for others.

Acts of kindness release feel-good chemicals in the brain increasing mood, reducing stress, and building a stronger snese of connection.

Even small, thoughtful actions can create a ripple effect — improving not just someone else’s day, but our own mental health too.

Random acts of kindness don’t have to be big or costly to make a difference.

Kids going back to school?

Lets take a moment to chek in with how YOU are feeling?

Rested, flat, or burnt out after the school holidays?

Between organising uniforms, lunches, drop-offs, work and everything else, it’s easy to forget about YOU.

But when you are supported, your family benefits too. 💪

Our quick tips to ease the stress:

🗓️ Plan ahead where you can.
☕ Take moments to recharge — a walk, some calming music, a cup of your fave hot drink.
👩‍👧‍👦 You are not alone — share the load with family or friends.
💖 Be kind to yourself — you’re doing your best, and that’s enough.

If things are feeling heavy, reaching out for support isn’t a weakness — it’s strength.

Your wellbeing helps your whole family thrive. ❤️

Kids are going back to school soon - How are they feeling?

Getting back into a routine after a long break can be a challenge— kids may feel anxious about new teachers, making friends, harder work, or earlier mornings.

To support them try:

✨ Open conversations — let them tell you how they feel, and reassure them it’s normal to be nervous.
✨ Easing back into routines early — earlier bedtimes and wake-ups help body and mind adjust slowly.
✨ Celebrate the small wins — like the first day back or remembering their PE kit.

It’s normal for kids to feel mixed emotions — what matters is your support!

Feeling mentally well isn’t about being happy all the time.

It’s about having the strength, tools, and support to get through everyday challenges.

For many of us juggling work, family, money pressures, or caring for others — mental wellness means finding small moments to breathe, cope, and feel supported.

Save this video for when you need a gentle reminder.

Wherever you are on your journey, this is a gentle reminder that there is no rush - healing happens at your own pace 😊

Today, in our final post on new year intnetions, we are setting the tone for the year ahead by choosing one or two things to focus on, helping you feel more balanced.

Try one of these practical ways to set your tone:

✔ Choose a word for the year (e.g. steady, supported, gentle)
✔ Pick one habit that supports your nervous system
✔ Decide what you want less of, not just more

We hope you have found this series useful. What did you find helpful? If you chose a 'word' to guide your year, we would love for you to share with our community!

Reflection isn't about churning over mistakes or criticising yourself. It's about learning what actually supports you.

If it feels good, and you can find a quiet 10 minutes, consider these these quick questions to help you narrow down your intentions.

• What gave me energy?
• What drained me?
• What did I overcome that I haven't given myself credit for?

But just remember if you found some things challenging it doesn’t mean you failed. It often means you were carrying too much without enough support.

New Year’s resolutions can sound motivating… but they can quietly turn into feelings of pressure and guilt.

Why don't we try another way...

Try setting intentions — gentle signposts that support your real life, not an unrealistic one.

Intentions:
• focus on how you want to feel, not what you must achieve
• adapt when life gets messy (because, let's face it, real life can be messy)
• encourage progress rather than perfection

You don’t need a brand-new version of yourself to move forward. You just need a direction that feels doable for you.

We hope you’ve had a gentle start to the new year.

January often carries an unspoken pressure to 'start fresh' but here’s your reminder: 🤍 You are good enough exactly as you are.

If the new year feelis like an invitation to start a new chapter we're here to support you. Setting the tone for 2026 can be calm, intentional, and at your own pace - no big resolutions required.

We’ll be sharing some ideas next week to help you ease back into the flow of things. This year, choose intention over resolutions, and self-compassion over perfection.
